#1 First up, how to create a tablespace...

The table is an integral part of your outdoor space as it’s a place to gather and entertain. By using different textures and colours, you can put together an inviting table setting that’s both beautiful and practical. Start with finding a tablecloth that you like and layer it up with some napkins, to match, or contrast, depending on your style. Then, create a focal point with a jug of flowers or candles at differing heights. Set your table with your favourite plates and bowls – a stack of bowls is a great option for a more informal gathering. You can decorate your napkins with sprigs of greenery and can even add personalised name cards as a special touch.

#2 Have breakfast in your garden!

For bright and sunny days, you might want to set-up up outside and start your day right! Perfect for putting you in a good mood for the day, all you really need is somewhere to sit, some comfy cushions, a selection of plates and cutlery and of course some delicious snacks.

When dining al fresco, opt for stoneware that is super tough and suitable for outdoor use to avoid any mishaps.

#4 Picnics

For minimal fuss, with an element of fun have a picnic. Keep your picnic foods simple and serve up sandwiches, salads, crisps and some dips. A picnic is a great way to sit back, relax and experience your garden from a different viewpoint.

#4 Set up a Woodland Wonderland for the kids...

Whether you’re celebrating a little one’s birthday or catching up with friends after a long time apart, a kiddy-friendly ‘camp’ area will go down a treat. You can use an old bedsheet carefully propped up to create a camping feel and fill it with plenty of blankets and cushions to make it comfortable.

Serve up mini party foods in a picnic-style and keep them entertained with some party games. Denby's Rice Bowls are a great shape for children’s snacks and their Handleless Mugs are perfect for their drinks and desserts!
