The ASICS GEL System is based on a special kind of silicone that enables optimal shock absorbtion. Gel Units are strategically placed in the midsole and designed to enable specific functions and positions.
Forefoot ASICS GEL cushioning system
The silicone-based, GEL cushioning system in the forefoot reduces the loading forces that would normally be applied as the foot moves into propulsion. This reduces shear forces enhances propulsion.
Trusstic System
Trusstic System: A molded component which reduces the weight of the sole unit while retaining the structural integrity of the shoe.

asics gel-rocket
The Asics Men's Gel Rocket Indoor Court Shoe have excellent grip in the gym floor and are perfect for volleyball because they absorb shock while wearing them. This is a must have shoe if you're on a budget.
