We get power from many different sources, but we don’t get it like the guys in Monstropolis do; they get it by capturing children’s screams. By entering their bedroom’s at night through their closet door teams of monsters power their city by scaring children!
Mike (Billy Crystal) is a little green monster with one giant eyeball and a short, round body. He, along with his teammate Sulley (John Goodman) a giant blue and purple fuzzy monster is just one of the teams that make their living by doing this.
There is one problem with the job they do; they’re actually terrified of children! And when one girl named Boo follows Sulley back through the closet door to Monstropolis, the monster world is turned upside down!

My 3 year old watched this on TV a few weeks ago and has been on at me to buy it since. Great DVD loved by all the family!
Monsters, Inc released in 2001, the forth film and massive hit to come from the Animation Studios of Pixar. A full length computer animation, with brilliant voice acting from the likes of Billy Crystal, John Goodman and Steve Buscemi. Pixar are masters at digital animation, but they also know how to create a good story with believable characters. Suitable for pretty much all ages of children, there are also enough 'clever gags' to keep your average adult amused too. The two main monsters Mike and Sully are a sort of scary-double-act, they keep the action, jokes and story moving along. A good, fun film for anyone's DVD collection.
Pixar's done it again! Join Mike and Sully as they try to scare as many children as possible... that is until they meet Boo. Follow how Boo changes their life, and their fellow monster's lives forever! I loved this film. It's great for people of all ages. There is comedy for the kids but there's also jokes in there that adults can relate to. It is one of Pixar's best movies, and I would recommend it to anyone.
this film one of the greatest animated films i have ever seen, theres no set age limit eiher and it makes me laugh every time i watch it - never gets me bored!
