Ringspun Espadrilles -Black
I saw these Ringspun Men's Espadrilles at a good price on The Hut, so I decided to buy two pairs, one blue and one black. I bought them basically for use as house slippers as I wanted a pair that were light in weight but sturdy with a strong back as I am tired of buying expensive slippers only to find that the upper parts collapse and my feet just walk out of them. This usually happens long before the soles show any signs of real wear, so I end up binning slippers only part worn but no longer fit for purpose. When I saw these on offer from The Hut I thought the price was so attractive that I was prepared to risk them not being ideal for use as house slippers. I was extremely surprised by their lightweight but very sturdy build with a nice stiff heel section. They are so good that I am only going to use the black pair as house slippers and will use the blue pair as holiday shoes. These are a great price, and I'm very happy with the quality and expect to get a long life from them.

These were the 2nd pair that I bought and I have found them to be slightly less comfortable than the 1st pair - don't know if that means the quality control isn't strict enough or I've just been unlucky this once. They're still good and at the price I paid I would definitely still recommend them.
The footwear is as exactly as described. Great buy, would recommend

RINGSPUN ESPADRILLES SIZING ISSUE
On inspecting the goods when they arrived they immediately looked very small and this was confirmed when I compared them against all my existing and smaller UK size 7.5 footwear - all shoe types. Apart from their short length it was also impossible to get more than my toes into the very narrow mouth of the shoes. These casual-shoes were also very light in weight and even though I was only going to use them as slippers they did not give the impression of being very durable. Would not recommend this product, even at sale prices.
