I have just bought this jacket to replace a similar 3 in 1 coat that has gone a bit past it's sell by date. I have to admit I'm impressed so far. The finish is of a high quality and every part does its job. The fleece is nice, light, and very warm. The outer is Helly Hansens own "Helly-tech" material (similar to gore-tex) and is completely water repellant and storm proof (yes I have been out in a storm in it already). Together they provide a lightweight and warm solution for the autumn and I'm sure it will handle the British winter with ease.
