To use, squeeze the two levers together to force the cloves through the pierced extruder plate and then separate the the two levers and use to the top one as a handy scraping tool for removing the crushed garlic from the front of the extruder plate. To remove the remaining skin or pulp use the tip of the lever from the extruding chamber to scrap the remainder away.

I've bought a few things from the Joseph Joseph collections and I've absolutely loved every single one! I've managed to break a few cheap garlic crushers in the past so finally took the plunge and bought this - it's SO worth the money! It's just great design, I love it!
