A low coffee table style piece of furniture for the middle of the room or next to a sofa, 66D fulfils this need.
The full circle lipped edge prevents things falling off and liquids from pouring off. Top can be removed for cleaning and the lacquer finish resists marks and stains. Get in close, the open frame legs give space for your knees and feet.
Top is epoxy painted. Legs are made from sturdy sustainably harvested American white oak finished in a smooth, matt, water resistant lacquer. Edges look crisp but are finely hand sanded to make them soft to the touch.

Functional & Aesthetically Pleasing
It's spacious and has a minimalist feel to it - I managed to put it together in less than 10 minutes. My only concern is that it's water resistant rather than waterproof, so coasters are a must.
