The graphics pushes the xbox to its limits. Amazing open world and wild life!Report this review
Was a bit sceptical about FarCry when my friends were harping on about this game. Saw it was going relatively cheap on here and bought it. AMAZING decision, great gameplay and graphics. Always nice to play a game that has some variety in it as well.Report this review
Far Cry 3 is a good game! It's completely crazy.Report this review
I think that Far Cry 3 is the best Far cry of all, it is very good game, you have many hours of history mode and others with the multiplayer with the map´s editor, the co-op and multiplayer online. I recommend!Report this review
I really enjoyed this Far Cry 3 game and got what I wanted. 5 stars.Report this review
Far Cry 3 is much more playable than Far Cry 2. It takes all the best bits of Far Cry 2 and crosses it with Just Cause 2 and comes out a real winner. It's impossible not to recommend.Report this review
Far Cry 3 has evolved again. It takes you back to the colourful island setting (tick), back to a slightly hollywood storyline (tick) but not quite back to the free-flowing world of Far Cry. Now, if you are on a mission and you step a bit off course you are warned that if you continue on your route, the mission will be lost. I would imagine they have done this to keep the system that manages the game less complicated but it can be a bit irritating when you just want to pick some herbs to make some medicine before you engage the enemy. The AI has improved, and although far from perfect (i.e. behaving like real people) it is good. The skills system, crafting goods and modifying weapons are all welcome additions to the game and bring the shooter and the RPG genres closer to each other. I do hate when you can't save between waypoints, it means that if it is just the last encounter that is causing problems, you still need to redo the whole rest of the section. This can become very irritating! To the extent that you give up on a section and then next time you play you find yourself back at the start again, which can be the death of a game as far as I am concerned. All-in-all I think this game does move back towards the gameplay of the original but with some additions along the way. Overall I would say this is a very good game, if you liked Far Cry you'll love it but if you preferred Far Cry 2 then maybe you will be a little disappointed.Report this review
I bought Far Cry 3 thinking it would be just a run of the mill game, but how wrong I was. The sheer amount of different tactics to taking out enemies and wildlife is brilliant and the game seems honed to perfection. Graphics are probably the best I have seen so far on XBOX with night and day cycles and changing weather conditions as an added bonus. The weapons are well implemented with regards accuracy and sounds, and the side missions seem to cater for all tastes Thoroughly recommend this to anyone familiar with the others in this series, or as an introduction to the Far Cry worldReport this review
