A better version of AC1

5

As the title says Assassins Creed 2 is a much better version than AC1 (even though I liked AC1). It is set in a much nicer time and it is more dynamic than the first game. If you haven't played Assassins creed yet this is actually a good game to start with, then you can play AC1 if you like this game.

Epic Story for an epic price

5

Awe inspiring historical stages set up the playing fields for a parkour assassin and his quest for revenge against the Templar organization. Ezio Auditore is a young man who witnesses the unjustified murder of his brother and father, and barely escapes to the home of his uncle, where he begins a new life in his fathers footsteps as an assassin, executing public assassinations of the ones who went against his family. Storytelling top notch. Visuals are of course a bit outdated(the game is quite old), but with the smooth flowing animations and running in the city, it doesn't stick out as bad. At best the scenery leaves you stunned for several moments as you just marvel at the architecture. Only real downside to the AC2 I can mention is the close combat, which is simplified to a basic quick-time event of countering at the right time. But if it comes to that, you have already failed as an assassin. ;) I found myself charmed by the game, forced to finish it once I started. I couldn't do any other game until I had the story through and through

Assassins Creed II

Ezio Auditore da Firenze is probably the best person in the videogames. I love him and everybody likes him. Beautiful action skills and lots of minor tasks.

Assassins Creed 2 (Game Of The Year Classics)

A great experience for video game lovers! Assassins Creed second title brings back some characters from the first game and at the same time it introduces a new one, Ezio Auditore da Firenze. It's in his shoes that we travel trough Renaissance Italy, in a stunning scenery. The italian architectural are shown in detail for its beauty and charm. For those who played the first game it's an opportunity to learn more about the conflict between Templars and Assassins and Altair, Ezio's ancestor. The game play remains the same wiht a simple combat mode and intense racing across the rooftops of italian cities. In addition to this we now have the opportunity to accumulate money and use it to buy weapons (the game features new weapons such as smoke bombs), armor, to develop a city or, for example, to buy works of art. Between this and the primary ande secundary missions you will have hours and hours of fun. Assassins Creed 2 it's a must have and it's evey penny you pay for it!

Assassins Creed 2 (Game Of The Year Classics)

Assasins Creed II improves greatly upon the original. It corrects the problems that plagued the first game and is an extremely enjoyable adventure. You can literally spend hours just exploring all of the scenery. Definitely a good buy.

This is Ezio. This is my Creed

Forget about Assassin's Creed: this second chapter is a new, different game. The common thread that links the two episodes is just the spectacular motion system, the creative environment usage and the consequent liveliness of the exploration. Apart from that, the two titles are at the antipodes. The unforgettable first episode was a sort of gaming fiction, a product with a mature and compelling screenplay, populated by characters with an unwavering charisma. You plaied it for its breathtaking glimpses, leading the player into a magical world, made also (and especially) of solitude. Assassin's Creed 2 replaces the voids of its predecessor with the urgency of many opportunities to pursue, in the splendid setting of the Italian Renaissance. This time, then, is the quantity, number, and the curiosity that each device can generate that surprise us. The thin plot defaillances are among the few criticisms that can be made to the title. But if exploits of the new Assassin aren't that epic, legendary and solemn is the gaming environment: unique, unusual, artfully constructed. Assassin's Creed 2 is therefore a dazzling journey into the reality of the Italian Fifteenth Century, a fun ride through the streets of eternal cities, face to face with prominent personalities. Few little surprises scattered in the immense setting can achieve unexpected moments of lyricism, such as the inner sections, or the winking presence of the glyphs. "Variety" is in short the keyword of the new "Creed" of Ezio and fellows. Far from its predecessor, Assassin's Creed 2 surprises for many reasons, in line with the will of so many greedy players. Beyond its artistic, visual and quantitative merits, is a product fun to play, a yet-today original action game, with an over the top personality. Recommended indiscriminately to the entire audience of the video player.
