Spec Ops: The Line is a great, dark story about one man's journey to become the hero in a world without heroes!Report this review
Just amazing. Fun game and didn't receive the attention that it deserved!Report this review
Spec Ops: The Line is an excellent game at an excellent price.Report this review
Wow, Spec Ops: The Line really achieved something unique... Can't quite put my finger on it, at first it felt like an ordinary shooter, and it is gameplaywise, but the story is what makes it worth your money. At several points later in the game I was confused, but in a good way, haven't felt the same way since.... Well, Bioshock I suppose; it's truly a unique game in that aspect, it's not just a generic war story, it's extremely dark so sensitive gamers might want to avoid this one. But take my word on this, it will even make the most hardened gamers feel unease at certain parts. Still, I do recommend this to all who can handle this kind of adult material, because the amazing use of colours and storytelling is really rare in games today, I've been waiting for this game for years now and it was indeed worth the wait! Yager have really done a good job, although the multiplayer is pretty standard but once again, you are buying this game for the story, which you should. I really hope they make more games like this. It is a real step towards much more mature stories, and I like it a lot! I give it a 9/10, really deserving, great graphics, great sound/music; it's a really good buy for those who have nothing else to do this summer!Report this review
Spec Ops: The Line makes you think about war, what you're doing and the fine lines between right and wrong. Who is bad and what length will people go to achieve an end? This is a solid game that's nothing groundbreaking.Report this review
Spec Ops: The Line is an awesome game where you can feel the real atmosphere of the war! The graphics aren't excellent, but it's the best story of 2012.Report this review
Great game so far, haven't finished it yet but if you're looking for a game with a good story and that questions morale, go for it. Massive step above the likes of COD and Battlefield in campaign mode. Haven't played multiplayer and don't really intend to but it is there.Report this review
This isnt a standard 3rd person shooter. This is something special. The game starts off like any other 3rd person shooter but as the game progresses its the story that will grab you and hold you till the final moment. The team command system is great, your squad members can handle themselves and you will end up caring for them. Finally the decision sections are amazing and really test the players moral codes and you will play through again to get all the endings.Report this review
You want some action, or need some thrilling suspense, or maybe even gorgeous ruins of desert with amazing graphics? There is no more breathtaking game than Spec Ops: The Line. Get it, you won't regret it.Report this review
I had tried the demo game of Spec Ops: The Line, and it is awesome! The movement and shooting is so realistic, not like some other games where the heroes always win, you need to have strategies to fight through your surroundings. After only playing the demo mode, I can tell this game is going to be my favourite game of the year.Report this review
