An excellent game with intense combat action throughout the game. A must have.Report this review
Battlefield: Bad Company looks great and feels great. It is at first a bit of an adaption for an COD fan like me, but after a while the tactics you have to use are great. The singleplayer is short but entertaining but the multiplayer is a must play, if you play it like you meant you can play it forever.Report this review

Battlefield - Dice marked with BC2 a milestone. Bad Company 2 justiifies, that Battiefield has always been one on the best FPS games. Play online with your squad mates against other squads and win the Gold Squad and the Ace pin. Really the best FPS on the market, put CoD in a basket, in BC2 is tactical teamplay, destroyable houses for tactical point and many more features. Great game!Report this review
I really like this game, but even though I probably wasted over 50 hours in this game I just can't give it more then 3 stars. I'll talk about the single-player first though, but I won't spend much time talking about it. Ok the SP sucks, it just sucks, they got rid of the humor and open nature of the first game to replace it with this generic, dull SP that differs very little from every other FPS out there, similar pacing, similar story, overall same structure then almost every modern FPS. There's not much to say about the story, its just there I guess, believe me you wont give a rats a** about the story. Now the multiplayer. The multiplayer is pretty good, the maps are a bit smaller then in the first one, but still big enough. Just don't go into the multiplayer of this game and expect it to be like Battlefield 2, because its not. The multiplayer is more action focused, but team work is still important. My problem with the multiplayer is that you can unlock the guns, perks and attachments really fast. You can unlock most of the guns before you reach level 15-20 which can turn some people off. There are some balancing issues to, not as drastic as in Modern Warfare 2, but still annoying like the one that ruined the game for is that most of the people started to use the Recon class only and the Medic which is extremly annoying when you want to capture an objective and most of the team is camping in the bushes. As far as the modes go they are the same as in BC1, conquest, rush, and team deathmatch.....not much to say here except that in Conquest the flags are bit to apart so there alot of running back in forth which can get boring sometimes. As far as presentation goes its pretty good. The sound design especially is really good, from gun fire to explosions its just amazing. The graphics could use a bit more polish, at least on the Playstation 3, so if you want the game to look the best, buy it on the PC. The gameplay hasn't changed at all (I don't mean that like its a bad thing) it still has that heavy feel to the weapons so don't expect to fire at like a mad man and hit someone, unless he's like 2 meters away from you. The destruction has improved though, everything just falls apart better, you can even destroy the whole building now. Even though its better its still feels "scripted", like you can see where the wall can be blown up and where it can't be, but you probably won't notice it unless you look for it. The vehicles are mostly the same, they removed the howitzer and added an UAV though. Overall I would recommend it especially at this price, but don't expect much from the single-player unless you enjoy that kind. I haven't played the Vietnam expansion so I can't say anything about that, but believe me you will have fun with the game, at least I had until the issues become more noticeable.Report this review
The battlefield series has always been one of the top FPS games on the market, and BC2 justifies just that. With destructible environments, amazingly realistic sound and stunninig graphics, the game offers alot for gamers. Its fun and also boasts a hardcore mode for those wanting even more realism. The weapon choice is very good and the weapons can be customised with a number of perks including red dots and 4x magnification scopes. It offers intensive vehicle combat aswell, featuring tanks,APCs,buggys and helicopters, also a nice addition is the UAV which can call in Hellfire missile strikes on enemy positions and can also be fitted with a mounted machinegun.. overall this game is very satisfying and offers alot of fun, especially online and even more when played with friends in squads of 4.Report this review
Although the mission-based part of the game is a little too short to keep you occupied long, the online battle mode more than makes up for it. I've had this game for almost a year and still choose it over Call of Duty. A new Battlefield is due out later in the year but for £17, you can;'t go wrong.Report this review

I love the focus on teamwork and the vehicles. the campaign is also rather good but clearly multiplayer is the focus! Graphics: 10/10 Gameplay: 9/10 Sound: 10/10 Content: 9/10 Campaign: 9/10 Overall: 9.5/10Report this review
