Good but not great

Maybe it's because the Supernatural pack has been released recently (which is the same price as this one for some reason) but I am pleased with this product but at the same time not as impressed as I thought. Mostly though because I try too quickly to do things with the vampires, but I was expecting an upright piano in the new items. You get a stage piano, and a grand piano - which might excite some - I was just trying to create a faithful recreation of my home on the Sims and admittedly I have a digital piano but it looks a bit like an upright and it just takes up way too much space. I used to have this modified object there instead, I just couldn't play it. I plunged straight in, not realising that I wouldn't get any celebrities or vampires unless I played in the new town. I thought I could just move my Sims (household) but I found I could move my home too which surprised me. Though the empty lots are a bit far away from the rest of the town. You can have lifts but it doesn't make exact sense to me so took me a while. Basically you have to have a elevator (lift) on every floor, except the ones where you don't want it to stop. I see why they've done it, just confused me that's all. It runs a little slow sometimes on normal speed, maybe it's my PC - it is in serious need of updating but there's so much more to explore. Took me long enough to find a vampire though.

the sims 3

The Sims 3 late night is an amazing expansion pack. It allows you to use your imagination and create whoever you want and to do things not possible for most people. You can now become a celebrity or a vampire. I highly recommend this game.

The Sims 3: Late Night

I really love this expansion pack. It adds to the Sims 3 few things I've always dream to do in the game. Things like play more instrument besides guitar, there are clubs and discos and the celebrity thing. Those things already exist in the sims 2 expansion packs but with the free roaming is really another thing! But I'd like to see more people in the neighbourhood and I think that a 3rd person game mode could be cool.

What a great add-on for the sims, I enjoy the expansions because they bring more life to the game and this one delivers just as well as the others.

The Sims3: Late Night

The Sims 3 has gone to a new level. Having played all of the expansion packs, I was eager to play The Sims Late Night. With the game comes a New Town and a new status called celebrity that you build up from one star to five stars. Also included, is some fantastic new instruments- Drums, Piano, and Base that you build up skill as you did with the guitar, and to watch your Sim learn these new skills is fun. You can now actually form a band and play gigs. Then comes the new twist to the game, you can become a Vampire... you can't just make your self a vampire but I won't spoil the surprise for you, let's just say it's really good how you get to become a vampire. You can now go and do things in the Sims that you have always wanted to do, like go clubbing, but I hope your celebrity status is good or you will end up bribing the bouncer or maybe not being able to get in.If you love the Sims 3, you are going to really love this expansion pack to the game .The Sims Late night is a highly recommended buy...

Best expansion so far

4

The Sims 3 Late Night is the best expansion pack released so far for the Sims 3 in my opinion. It's very much reminiscent of 'The Sims Superstar' expansion pack released for the original Sims games so I'd recommend it to anyone who enjoyed that expansion pack. The Sims 3 Late Night places your sims in the urban location of 'Bridgeport'. Bridgeport is brimming with local celebs and trendy celeb hotspots. This offers your sims the oppotunity to climb the ladder to stardom themselves, perhaps by befriending a local celebrity, sneaking into VIP clubs, starting a sucessful rockband or pursuing a career in film. It delivers a much needed adult element to the game. For example, the ability to visit clubs for dancing and cocktails (maybe even public wohoo!! ;p), vampires roaming the streets and hot tubs. And the piano and various other musical instruments give your virtuoso sims something else to play, other than just a guitar all the time! This, in my opinion, makes the game a worthwhile purchase, even if you're not interested in the celebrity element of it. Well worth the price and would recommend to all sims lovers.
