Coupled with a Wii Wheel this game is very enjoyable. There are stages that are frustrating like the Rainbow Road but overall very enjoyable. This game can also be played online against player across the world if the Wii is set up with a wireless connection. One of the must-buys for the Wii.Report this review

Even though Mario Kart is getting on, for sheer instant fun it still cannot be beaten. A ten minute blast or a day session on the net is just as much fun as it's always been. It's a top ten game every day of the week!Report this review
Top notch entertainment for kids!Report this review
Great product, my 4 year old and 7 year old son and daughter love it and teenagers visiting over xmas enjoyed playing it. I Ordered it just a couple of weeks before xmas, several other places had sold out, it came in a week, was a good reasonable price, so all in all very happy with the product and service from The Hut. Would recommend!Report this review
I bought this for my son's 4th Birthday. Its brilliant. The bright colours and cheerful background music really draw you and making you feel your spectating beside the track. The wide variations of circuit settings keep you entertained and there's a vast combinations of characters and vehicles to take part in. Excellent value for money and I'm sure will keep us entertained as a family through the winter months. Its been played non stop for days as single player and multiple player. Being as my son is only 4 I thought it might be a bit hard for him but he's managed to grasp the turning of the wheel now and the instructions are very straight forward for him to follow on his own without him having to ask what everything says.Report this review
It's hard for me to go back to Mario Kart Wii having experienced Sega All Stars Racing. The graphics, controls, and character all pale in comparison. That said, Mario Kart Wii is by no means terrible, it just feels too familiar. The Mario Kart formula has worked for so long, how can you perfect perfection? Well, I'd start by taking out the increasingly annoying weapons like ink splatter, blue shell, and all character-specific items. Then tone down the unfair AI rubber-banding, return the battle mode to its N64 glory, and this could actually be one of the better Mario Karts. I did appreciate the addition of motorcycles, and the course selection is a nice smattering of new and old. Power-sliding may seem oversimplified now, but it prevents snaking and relieves the tedium of slamming the stick back and forth. The simplified experience gives the game an almost Mario Kart for dummies feel, but even Mario Kart for dummies is still decent Mario Kart. I'm just glad they offered other control methods besides the awful remote-only option.Report this review
This game is amazing. Words do not do it justice. It is so addictive you can spend 5 hours playing and not notice the time. The courses are beautifully detailed. The AI is very realistic and challenging. It makes racing so fun. Online competition is also very good, with few glitches. One of the best party games available as it is so competitive. There is also lots to unlock which is quite challenging but rewards you with new characters and better vehicles. All in all it is the best game ever made for the Wii. Its come a long way from its SNES incarnation and has just got better.Report this review
