Complete collection featuring every episode of hugely popular 70s sitcom. The series follows the comedic adventures of London's laziest bus drivers, Stan (Reg Varney) and Jack (Bob Grant), as they make a career out of not working--except when it involves flirting with the ladies or plotting against their villainous manager, Blakey (Stephen Lewis).

On The Buses - Complete Series Box Set is very impressive. The delivery time was very fast.
I have been the personnel manager in a big Finnish bus company in the 1980s and 1990s. Many things in that company were similar to the situations in "On the Buses". I am very convinced that in such kind of jobs (for example bus driver) crazy humour is absolutely necessary to manage with everyday situations. When I looked the episodes of "On the Buses", I remembered those old happy days and had much fun!
This series in my opinion is what a good old British comedy should be. You will laugh until you cry, you can sit and watch it with family. It is still as funny today as when it was first shown back in the 70s, in my opinion it ranks along with other great comedies like "Only Fools and Horses" and "Rising Damp". It is worth every penny.
If you like jokes about birds, bristols and labour disputes then you'll love this slice of classic British humour. All aboard for a fun-filled trip back to the seventies with Stan, Jack, Arthur, Olive and Butler. See you at the cemetery gates.
