What can I say? Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 1 keeps you in tense silence from the beginning of the film right until the end. I watched this and it was jaw-dropping! An epic first part ending of Harry Potter, great for any age groups over 12. You will not believe your eyes, honestly, I couldn't!Report this review
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 1 is an amazing film. The plot and acting skills are excellent.Report this review
An amazing part 1 of the Finale of the fantastic Harry Potter Series, find Harry Ron and Hermione searching for Horcruxes, whilst outlawed by The Ministry of Magic. A true Masterpiece.Report this review
A totally immense film, in fact out of this world, the characters become so much of your lives, the heartache, the adventure, the evil and the good, this film is just epic. I've watched every film and have been mesmerized by the story line, it's a fantasy that you never want to end! So looking forward to the final part, but will also be saddened to see it end. I definitely give this and all the rest of the Harry Potter series 5/5.Report this review
Whoever thought Harry Potter is just for kids is sorely mistaken. This film shows the truely dark times of the wizarding world, and keeps you on the edge on your seat. The Deathly Hallows keeps to the book almost perfectly, and almost nothing has been missed out. As the actors get older, they seem to get better, and Daniel Radcliffe really comes into his own as the reluctant hero. Harry Potter is not a child anymore, and Lord Voldemort is getting closer and closer...Report this review
Watching. Heart pounding. There really was not a dull moment in this movie. I watched this movie with my friends and in parts we were crying, gasping or covering our eyes from fear. Harry is on the run, the very first movie where he is away from Hogwarts, the safety of its walls and Dumbledore for protection (after his tragic death). This move has all the drama and romance in it to it to make it absolutely spell-binding! (get it). It toys between the boundaries of fantasy and reality in unique and interesting ways, in a sense it reminded me of "twilight", but with a storyline.Report this review
Voldemort's power is growing stronger. He now has control over the Ministry of Magic and Hogwarts. Harry, Ron, and Hermione decide to finish Dumbledore's work and find the rest of the Horcruxes to defeat the Dark Lord. But little hope remains for the Trio, and the rest of the Wizarding World. Harry uncovers the existence of three most powerful objects in the wizarding world: the Deathly Hallows. Without doubt, this is the scariest Potter film so far. There are moments when even adult watchers shriek which watching the film - a scene in which Hermione is tortured, another in which a Hogwarts teacher comes to a very unpleasant end. (And if you're scared of snakes, you might want to give this film a miss altogether.) But overall a Magnififcent film and i can't wait for the other part.Report this review
I love Harry Potter and all of the films are brilliant. The deathly Hallow's Part 1 was amazing and the effects were great. the only let down was that even though the film is being split into 2 parts, it still missed some bits out. but on the whole an amazing film. I love all the emotions in it, laughter, heartbreak, bravery, sadness and hopefully allot more to come in the second part. if I had to sum it all up in one word I would say: MAGIC!Report this review
My favourite of the series so far, hardly missed anything from the book, ended on a real cliff hanger and i cant wait for the next part, definetly the film of the year!Report this review
Harry Potter and The Deathly hallows Part 1 was dark, scary and gave the viewer a ride into the darkening world of Harry Potter, and for that it stands out as one the best Harry Potter films yet. Bravo! I can't wait for part 2.Report this review
