With its witty dialogue, sophisticated character development, and classic slapstick situations, Frasier is perhaps best described as the thinking man's Friends. Taking centre stage is pompous radio psychiatrist Dr Frasier Crane (Kelsey Grammer), whose phone-in show serves as much an outlet for his neuroses, as it does a public service for the people of Seattle. Clever intersecting storylines feature a brilliant ensemble cast, including his prim and proper brother Niles (David Hyde Pierce), their gruff retired-cop father Martin (John Mahoney), live-in home care worker Daphne (Jane Leeves), brassy radio producer Roz (Teri Gilpin), and a charismatic Jack Russell terrier named Eddie, with whom Frasier has regular staring contests but never wins. This collection includes the show's pilot episode through to its eleventh series finale, and every episode in between.

The only positive of this review is the great price of the product purchased . From then on it went downhill . I was sent an expected delivery date email , no problems there however the product turned up 5 days after the forecasted delivery date . I could live with that as it was Christmas and I appreciate everyone is busy but please don't send ambitious delivery date emails if there's no chance of fulfilling this commitment . On opening the very limited amount of packaging for a product that has the potential to be damaged during transit I was not surprised the outer packaging of the product looked like it had either been involved in a very light Kickaround game of football or the pickers or distribution agents had decided to throw these items around like they really don't care . One of the reasons you buy complete series box set DVDs are you love the series of the DVD your buying and the packaging is an integral part of the purchase . So my packaging is a little crumpled n creased and whilst not happy I can live with that . I placed the box set on the side as no time to watch before Christmas due to work commitments . However I moved the product and heard the noise that suggested that inside things were not quite right . On removing the cellophane wrap and removing the 2 plastic cases and then opening a lot of small bits of plastic fell out and deposited themselves over the floor . So the moral of this tale is thus . If you want to buy on price go for it but buyer beware it comes at a hell of a price . I could complain but I just think the best I can do is never buy from here again and especially at Christmas .
10 out of 10 many thanks
This Frasier Series 1-11 is absolutely great value for money. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a funny series.
Frasier is a great television show, and I'm very pleased to be the proud owner of all eleven series!
We are big Frasier fans and considered the complete box set as a must have addition to our collection. The only negative is the slightly dubious packaging that holds the DVDs. I can only hope that the discs remain in good condition and give us much pleasure over the years to come.
Received the DVD set as promised. It is for a Christmas present, so I can't comment on the actual product contents. Thought the price and service the Hutt provided was first class.
well packaged, good quality, great value
The Frasier series was probably the best comedy to come out of America. The quality of writing and the characters provided some of the cleverest and funniest lines and situations ever. Even the less successful episodes contain something special, compared to what passes for comedy from our homegrown writers. If you aren't familiar with the series try it, and if you are already addicted enjoy it again.
This is a wonderful series with clever writing, terrific humour, and the development over time of some great storylines with wonderful twists and turns towards the end. Some great characters have been created - even the ones you find really irritating (e.g Daphne's brothers) make you admire the skill of the scriptwriters. Some episodes are thought provoking - but always there is humour. Several of the episodes (e.g. the one where Frasier and his brother open a restaurant) are a masterclass in how humour should be done. Very definitely a series which stands watching more than once.
Frasier is an intelligent, witty, sophisticated comedy perfect for any time. It's got something for everyone with a range of characters to relate to and really funny scenarios! I grew up wathcing Frasier with my mum, I liked it even in my early teens and most certainly still love it now All 11 series will keep you busy for a while and unlike a lot of tv shows, its quality never falters.. I nearly bought the box set a few years ago when it was £200, I'm so glad I waited and couldn't believe I've found it so cheap! It's an absolute bargain and really is worth the money, you can re watch it over and over. Thank you the hut, this is a perfect present and will be enjoyed very much. =)
By far.....one of the funniest sit-coms ever created. The characters play off each other in such a witty and engaging way that it draws you into their disastrous bumbles every day. It just gets funnier and funnier as they years go on.
