Soften the Barbour Wax by placing it in hot water and then applying the melted wax using a cloth, paying attention to seams and creases. Hang the jacket to dry overnight in a warm area, away from other clothing. Consider re-waxing your jacket annually for long-lasting protection.

To clean your Barbour jacket, brush away excess dirt with a soft-bristled brush, then wipe down with cold water and a moleskin cloth, paying attention to the collar and upturned sleeves. For the inner lining, use a damp cloth with white vinegar to neutralize odours and remove mould or mildew. Hang the jacket to dry in a well-ventilated area away from sunlight, with the collar up if applicable, and pockets turned out."
