Based on Steig Larsson’s literary phenomenon, the trilogy follows the unlikely heroine Lisbeth Salander and journalist Mikael Blomkvist, first as they unite to solve the case of a missing girl and then as they fight to uncover the truth about Salander’s past. A past full of secrets that a mysterious underground Government group would kill to keep hidden.

I watched the British/American version of 'The girl with the dragon tattoo' and couldn't wait for the other 2 films to be released. That's why I bought the original swedisch version and loved it. The acting is equally as good in the first film. Daniel Craig is in my opinion equal to Mikael Nyqvist but I don't think Rooney Mara who plays Lisbeth Salander can do a better job than Noomi Rapace. She is incredible in the last two films when Lisbeth Salander shows a more emotional side at times.
At first, English dubbing put me off The Girl? Trilogy, but 30 minutes into screening that was forgotten! I have only seen the first DVD (Girl with the Dragon Tattoo) as yet, but what a roller coaster of a storyline! It's a fabulous drama! My husband and I were absolutely transfixed by the storyline! It's a bit slow to begin with, but hang in there cause it's well worth sticking with! It's one of the best crime thriller films I have seen for years. I'm looking forward to seeing the 2 follow-up films. It's well worth the money - give it a go, I am sure your won't be disappointed!
Watched these films when the son bought them, so the first chance I had to buy them in blu-ray I jumped at the chance, The Hut was the cheapest there was and I've done quite a bit trade with them. Will definitely buy from them again.
