Forget the run of the mill gore fests that only seek to upset your delicate sensibilities by spilling the claret. Immerse yourself in the inaugural outing of the new age horror, the first and last word on the unparralleled revulsion the human mind is capable of conjuring. An unrelenting plot of sheer unforgetable brilliance, with three huge and commanding, yet perfectly complimentory performances from the films trio of stars. In fact the brilliant casting does not end there. Every line is delivered with a genuine, believable aplomb. There is no pretention here, no showboating, no glitz or glamour. Seven is the gritty and dark thriller, believable and genuinely disturbing. I cannot stress enough just how amazing this film is, 15 years on it is without a doubt still the best ever. Delving into the crime fiction genre I have personally experienced and loved all the more for the brutal horror in humanity that is portrayed.
