Florals for Fall with Ted Baker

Ted Baker is no stranger to The Hut, with a wide collection of menswear, the brand’s significance on The Hut is ever growing. The beautifully detailed early autumn Womenswear collection, now features alongside the menswear collection – an addition we are completely thrilled about. And that’s not even the best bit… you can also expect the full Autumn/Winter collection to be landing soon too. Here’s a little bit of an insight into the collection to get you just as excited as we are…

From across the globe the collection is inspiration by Ted’s travels to glorious gardens, with surprising textiles and unexpected yarns. Throughout both the early autumn and full AW18 collections, Ted’s signature eye for detail is maintained and championed.

In pursuit of the perfect floral, Ted explored the Amazonian jungle, Florentine villas, Lakeland country gardens and the South African tropical botanicals. From these adventures, the collections are based upon four foundation colour palettes, including Air force blues, strawberry pinks, pesto-tinged greens and base hues of navy/grey and black. The darker shades and highlighted popping tones designed in a floral print, create a dramatic effect; perfectly suited to the time of year and the upcoming transitional period.

The strawberry pink palette is a focal point for the pre-fall collection. Providing the base colour for many of the t-shirts, dresses, and cardigan designs, the products are graced with a singular flower print, labelled the ‘Harmony’. Representative of the name, the design is relaxing, elegant and simple. The prints and palettes can be found across all of their designs including their trainers, statement heels and occasionwear pieces.
