March Movie Spotlight: Who Framed Roger Rabbit 25th Anniversary Edition

Our family friendly film this month is the 25 Anniversary Edition of the film Who Framed Roger Rabbit, on Blu-ray for the first time ever! Combining live action with animation, featuring some famous real life and cartoon faces, this film has something for adults and children of all ages. A classic comedy originally released in 1988, Who Framed Roger Rabbit is perfect for a family movie night in.

The film revolves around Roger Rabbit, a ‘toon star actor of Maroon Cartoon Studios, who suspects that his femme fatale wife Jessica being unfaithful to him with Marvin Acme, the owner of Toontown, home to all ‘toons in Hollywood. However, when Roger finds proof of his suspicions, he becomes the main suspect of a murder investigation when Marvin winds up dead the next day!

With nowhere else to go, Roger turns to private detective and ‘toon hater Eddie Valiant (Bob Hoskins) for help. With Eddie’s reluctant co-operation, the pair set out to recover Acme’s will in the hopes of clearing Roger’s name and saving Toontown!
