Valentine’s day may have been last week but here at TheHut.com, we still can’t separate ourselves from our one love. Fashion. We’re attending London Fashion Weekend over the next three days and in order to make it through the crowds of savvy shoppers, back-to-back catwalk shows and numerous interviews with bloggers and journalists – we knew we’d want – no – need – a few of our favourite go-to (lifesaving) items.  Here, we share what we have in our bags – hardworking products that never let us down.

You’ll never catch me without my L’Oreal Paris Glam Shine lipgloss. Whenever I discover a new shade it’s something of a celebration. I’ve packed a copy of the latest Elle magazine to enjoy whilst I’m waiting to interview bloggers, a few samples of the Macadamia Natural Oil treatment to use as a serum to control my fly away strands whilst sprinting from show to show and my iPad Air  for no other reason other than because I’m a self confessed Apple addict. I’m loving red nail polish at the moment so I felt it only obligatory to pack my favourite Maybelline Colour Show Nail Lacquer in shade Downtown Red.

I always pack a small notepad to note down any beauty trends I see whilst I’m at the shows. I’m something of a sweet-aholic so I always bring a few treats with me! I’m addicted to Harper’s Bazaar so when I’m going on a trip you’ll rarely see me without the latest copy. Nail varnishes in soft, candy shades of pink are something I find myself reaching for more and more lately so I’ve popped in my favourite Essie Nail Polish in shade Funny Face. To say cleanings wipes are essential is something of an understatement. When I’m rushing around allover London from meeting to meeting or show to show, they’re my lifesaver. I always use L’Oreal Paris Age Perfect Cleansing Wipes because they’re great for soothing tired skin and perfect for when I need a quick cleanse before topping up my make-up. I swear by the Rimmel Lash Accelerator Endless Drama in shade Black because lengthening mascara makes your eyes look more wide open. Perfect for disguising tired eyes.

Georgia’s essentials.

If there’s one beauty product I can’t live without it’s the Maybelline New York Fit Me concealer. It’s great for covering up blemishes, highlighting and illuminating. I’ve become so accustomed to the crystal-clear, distortion free audio experience that the BassBuds earphones deliver that I can’t be without them. Ever. When it comes to nail polish, I believe in a lighter touch so pale shades, especially whites are my favourite colours right now. I can’t get enough of shade Marshmallow by Essie.  With the current delightful weather – my skin is looking a little pale. I achieve a golden glow with Bourjois LRP Blush Cream in shade Healthy Glow. Eyeliner – essential? Absolutely. I use L’Oreal Color Riche Le Smoky Pencil Eyeliner & Smudger because it’s a multi-tasking eyeliner that lets me achieve a natural look in the day and a sultry smokey eye for the evening.
