A lightbulb within a lightbulb is the innovative design of the Wooden Bulb Lamp. Looking like it has come straight out of an art gallery, the lamp wouldn't look out of place in a trendy loft apartment or a quirky nightclub. The designer behind the work of art, Barend Hemmes, has created the laser cut plywood lamp which gives a warm glow whilst forming a square criss cross shadow. What looks like an oversized mic can be hung from the ceiling like a traditional light or it can lie on its side. Either way, it is a trendy way to bring design and light to any room. - R.K.
