I have used a German bread-maker for the past couple of years, it has been and is an excellent machine. I chose to by the Cuisinart after looking at its reviews. Cuisinart have a good reputation for kitchen equipment. It looks good and is easy to programme. I tried the white bread recipe in the book, it was a complete failure, this might have been because of the yeast I used being old. I tried again with one of the ready made mixes and it came out great. Since then I have tried the malt loaf recipe and adapted it to my liking, I made two of them using some new yeast, they both came out perfectly, there is a problem that they are addictive and I cannot stop having some for small snacks. I have also tried the white bread recipe from my other breadmaker, this turned out perfectly. I like the program 5 for sweet bread, my other machine does not have this. So, so far I am pleased with it and would recommend it to anyone contemplating buying a bread maker.
