Even tho this UP24 is an old version it's still helpful and motivational. Great way to connect with other like minded people too. The Hut delivered no problems, easy to order and delivery just s couple of days.

Jawbone UP
A great price for a good product, The sleep app is handy no more leaving the phone on the bed to record any movement, The calorie counter is very good once you've worked out how to varie the amount (raise or lower the green part of the contents screen by swiping up or down).with a barcode scanner or type input for most food & drink ( or equivalent products) It seems to work out your stride length & step count from your height . there are 4 modes active/workout/sleep/power-nap...which is indicated via simple LED symbols in the band.(2 x symbols ) . No bluetooth connection but communication is via your devices headphone socket & 3.5 plug molded onto one end of the band which seems to work really well and syncs & downloads in 30 second or so. Daily alarms can be set + idle time reminder via the buzz mode on the wristband . The band itself is light and comfortable, the end cap clips on quite tightly but if you loose it spares can be bought easy enough. Charging is via the USB adapter lead supplied .(around 10 days per charge ) Only really useful for the basics but for a starter band its great value.

UP JAWBONE
I bought this for my wife so she could find out things to improve her lifestyle. so far there is not a thing she can complain about even going to bed with it on is not a problem for her, She is loving comparing how many steps we both do as our lifestyles are total opposites The food templates she thinks is cools as she can now plan healthier foodstuffs for the both of us. It has now given us a more positive outlook for getting up and doing some walking together.

Up the Jawbone
This is surprisingly good and at this price really good value too. Have worn it for a couple of weeks and has been really motivational in getting me to review my activity and to set new goals. Early indications suggests the data is pretty accurate. The associated app which needs to be downloaded is also very good. The fact that it hasn't a on board display isn't an issue. I particularly like the vibrate if I have been stood still too long!

I love my jawbone, it's get to see how I've progressed with my daily workouts.. Pleased I bought this and not the 24up. The only difference is that you plug the Up into your phone, where as the 24Up is Bluetooth.
