First of the Few:
Filmed during the dark days of the 1942, this is the immortal story of the Spitfire which had helped to win the Battle of Britain the previous year. Leslie Howard stars as R.J. Mitchell, the inventor of the Spitfire, whose aircraft designs were turned down for funding by Whitehall because they were too revolutionary. A chance meeting with Messerschmitt in the early 1930's gives Mitchell the inspiration to build Britain's fastest and deadliest fighter plane. but first he must find a devil-may-care pilot to risk his life on the test flights. Salvation comes in the form of Geoffrey Crisp (David Niven), an out of work veteran fighter pilot from the First World War. Together they build the aircraft that so many will owe their lives to.

Candlelight in Algeria:
Susan (Carla Lehmann) is cast into a web of international intrigue when she decides to hide fugitive British agent Alan Thurston (James Mason) from Nazi agents in the Vichy colony of Algiers. Thurston's mission is to recover a camera reveling the exact location where the Allies are rehearsing operations for the invasions of North Africa. His every move is followed by Dr. Muller (Walter Rilla), a Nazi sympathiser, who will stop at nothing to acquire the camera and capture the Allied group. Candlelight in Algeria is a classic British wartime film that has rarely been seen since its wartime release in 1944 and James Mason is in top form as a sueve and courageous wartime spy.

Tomorrow We Live:
Whilst the Germans scour a French town for saboteurs, the Mayor (Godfrey Tearle) and his daughter Marie (Greta Gynt) collaborate with the German Occupation. But unknown to both the Germans and French villagers, they are leaders of the resistance organisation. When a young French idealist (John Clements) arrives without papers, Marie shields him from the Germans and enlists him in their cause to disrupt the German war effort and smuggle Allied airmen back to England. As the Audacity and success of the French Resistance increases, the Germans decide to call in the SS in order to establish obedience, But will the German's brutal suppression force the French to betray their fellow countrymen, or will the spirit of French patriotism stand from against Nazi tyranny?
