I must say I am very pleased with this cleaner. It won't replace a good vacuum at the weekend with a proper Vacuum cleaner, but to keep the place clean and tidy during the week this is just the job. It says it is for hard floors only, but I am using it on my carpets with no problem, although it won't do my rug. But it's excellent upstairs in the bedrooms and the landing, and although I was a bit wary, it has not fallen down the stairs. I couldn't believe how much fluff and hair it picked up! It really does work. It won't pick up big bits, but on the whole I am very pleased and will be using it regularly. It runs for an hour, then you have to empty it and charge it up again for 4 hours, which is the only drawback. But once you have got the place clean, you won't need to run it continuously! Well worth the money.
Didn't have high expectations, but after it arrived and put in use, I was amazed how good the robot Hoover was, it found tons of dirt from a semi clean floor and cleaned every nook and cranny.
What a nifty machine little machine this is. No crazy expectations for the price. It does exactly what I thought it would and goes about its business while you carry on with other things needing very little assistance. With 4 children, 2 dogs, a cat and a wooden floor throughout the bungalow, this works really well at keeping on top of the dust and pet hair. It is full after 50 minutes and ready to be recharged but boy can it cover a lot of space in that time. My friends are queuing up for one and very envious.
Although this robotic vacuum does not pick up everything in its path it does make a great attempt at it. It goes into corners and between the narrow gaps in the furniture. We are very happy with it and think for its price it is a good buy.
Does the great job of picking up all the dog/cat hairs from all our rooms. After charging for the minimum 4 hours it works great. What's good about it is the fact you can let it get on with it and no issues. The worst thing is that the storage area for the dirt is quite small so you have to empty it after every room. Overall, I'd highly recommend it.
The cleaner works well on hard floors but it does not like mats. The brushes are effective along edges. Emptying and cleaning is easy.
Wow, this Freetime Robot Vacuum Cleaner is a very nice piece to add to my already lazy life. It does exactly as it says, I even spilt a couple of tea bags in the conservatory to see what it did, and it left the floor spotless. Would highly recommend.
The Freetime Robot Vacuum Cleaner is a fantastic piece of kit, he gets stuck now and again and don't put him on carpet but for hard floors he's amazing, I send him round all the time! As soon as he's charged he's off and every time he goes he picks up a large amount of dust that you wouldn't believe is on your floor. Would recommend to everyone.
This little machine is perfect for hard floors and does pretty well on short pile rugs/carpets. It will pick up hair and dust and small bits no problem off the hard floor, and as long as you charge it properly before the first use, it will last approximately one hour before you have to plug it in. If it gets stuck somewhere, it switches itself off after a few seconds and then emits an intermittent beep so you will know and can free it. The noise is really not bad, but we found that if you shut it in a room and leave it, then it's not a problem. You can have it going in the room you're in, but you probably wouldn't on a regular basis. It also senses edges, so that if you have a step, it won't fall off! Clever little thing and not bad for the price! Don't expect miracles, but as long as you empty it after its done a room, it does the job! Even the cats are getting used to it now, although I think they will always be cautious!
I just love my little robot vacuum cleaner, Whiskers. I clear a space for it and it potters around making all my floors clean. My wooden floors have not been so clean for ages. I bought one as a present for my daughter and she adores it too. It is loved also by the cat, who watches it suspiciously, but is fascinated by it. Cleaning has not been this much fun EVER!
Great to leave this little "Creature" roaming a room with hard floors busy doing its job.Could do with a little longer battery life though. Overall good value for money !
I bought one of these a few weeks ago on special offer - thinking it was worth a try. I am super-pleased with it. It has been used a couple of dozen times - I wanted to ensure I was happy about it in the returns limited time. Many people have complained about little robot cleaners. My opinion now is that they have unrealistic expectations, they want everything done for them. They are relatively simple little machines repeat repeat.... Yet they do a great job - They are for hard floors, but actually it did a really great job on a short pile carpet square floor, indeed very good because it got under low book shelving that a normal cleaner couldn't, and the cleaner-person wouldn't bother to use the attachments to do it. Similarly they run under wardrobes and pick up that stuff that never gets attention from one year to the next. One has to think of them as an automatic dustpan and brush rather than a Dyson! They pick up dust and fluff and hair VERY well, but not sand/grit/raisins etc. - don't have unrealistic expectations! Also the little brushes are fantastic for getting around radiator pipes and under doors and skirting boards. It's automatic cleaning patterns work very well, especially its concentration on going around edges. More advanced and much more expensive cleaners will automatically dock and recharge, but I realised this is a trick! They are all so small that they need emptying and tapping out the filter every time the battery runs out, BTW sufficient to do a couple of large rooms, so that putting the machine on charge is the signal time to empty the dust bin - a ten second job. I think you get the idea - I like it - but don't pay too much for it! Its stair edge avoidance also works, but it does not support virtual walls.
Theoretically this should be brilliant. Easy set up, and it 'works' straight out of the box. However, it is quite noisy given its size. Not sure what i was expecting, but I guess I wasn't comparing its volume to that of a vacuum cleaner. It is nevertheless quite fascinating watching it go about its task, gently bumping into the skirting board, fridge, cooker and other kitchen appliances (it can only be used on hard floors). What reallly lets it down is the length of time it will operate on a full charge - ten minutes! That's when it reminds me of a small child that craves constant attention. Great idea - poorly executed.
Fantastic on hard floors, picks up pet hairs, dust, fluff and light dirt particles. Quick and easy to use and runs quietly. I didn't really expect much for the price but it works great.
I bought the free time whiskers as my grandson suffers with asthma and I have two large, short-haired dogs who shed a lot. I always feel that I should vacuum several times when he stays over but I want to give him my undivided attention. Problem solved, whiskers scoots round and picks up all the hairs, dust and light debris, then after another four hours it's ready to do it all again! Works great on wood, laminate and tile. I love it so much that I bought another one for my wooden upstairs rooms.
This is an excellent product, it usually sells for a LOT more than the price TheHut.com are offering. It's a definite must buy product!
