This game is great, I'm really enjoying it so thank you!
Rage is a really good game, a bit slow to start off but definitely getting better.
So if you've ever played Borderlands, Metro 2033, Singularity, or Fallout, you'll know what Rage is getting at. Bearing no graphical resemblance to borderlands, but owing it almost everything else, slamming your Mad-Max/Tupac buggy through desolation seems eerily familiar. However, the beautiful landscapes and less insane guns anchor this as a seriously well imagined post-apocalyptic dystopia. It really is a beautiful looking game, and being picked up by John Goodman gives things a certain welcome familiarity from the outset. The only criticism is a slight lack of mission depth. 'Cover this guy with your sniper rifle' is quite popular. As is 'drive here, do this, then come back'. The main story missions are nice though, and the racing feature is solid, if not a little frustrating. I bought this down to the fallout comparisons, but if you enjoyed Borderlands, you'll definitely enjoy this.
Rage: Anarchy Edition offers fantastic value for money. It's an excellent game and the graphics are cool. Overall - a great game.
Amazing game. Good graphic. I really enjoy it.
Rage is such a great game. It has single player and multiplayer. The game takes place in a post-apocalyptic world. The singleplayer tells the story of a Ark Survivor (you) who wakes into this setting 106 years after being put into stasis. During our journey we'll help some survivors living in towns with various problems such as fighting off bandits and mutants and ferrying supplies. The rest I won't tell you ;P The multiplayer has a very addictive co-op play (legends of wasteland) and racing modes (Road Rage). In Road Rage, up to four players compete in a free-for-all match that takes place in an arena designed to make use of the vehicles. In legends of wasteland you and other mate fight some bandits and achieve some objectives. The game is so addictive, has such beautifull visuals and runs locked at 60fps all the time. Do yourself a favor and buy this game. And don't forget to buy this game new for the sewer missions passcode which extends the gameplay a lot. Thanks for reading
With Rage, id raises the bar and proved once more how to deliver a fantastic FPS gameplay experience to their players. The graphics and ambient are amazing, the sound is great and the driving sequences a good fun, but the story is very poor. The characters, narrative and multiplayer deserved a little more of effort in the development. Overall, if you're looking a great shooter with a decent campaing (10-15h at least) to spend some time in xmas holidays, Rage is a good buy. Cheers!
If you, like me, are a sucker for post nuclear/disaster the world is in ruins kinda setting, you will love this game. The game looks like Borderlands was first presented. But it has the humour of Borderlands. It has less weapons, but the sound and the graphics are way better than Borderlands. The game comes on 3 discs.. 2 for the SP and one for the MP. The game is pretty straight forward. Get a mission, drive or walk to it. Off course you run into some enemies, a bit of shooting takes place. And in between you search the place for usable items to sell or use. Off road racing in buggies is also a big part of the game. You can do races, or delivery posts. When you do a mission, you mostly have to drive to it first, and thus you ran into enemy buggies and towers. The game also has a lot of humour, which you will find out when you play the game. There are also a few mini-games, which help you gain extra cash. The card-battle game is the best worked out, and making a deck is a game apart. Whilst searching the wastelands you will find more cards to make a better deck. The game really stands out on the point of graphics, all the characters are well animated and the surroundings are well made. The game has the hardness of Fall Out 3, but with a lot more different colors.. but it is not cartoony or colorful like Borderlands.. Biggest problem with the launch if this game, is the huge list of blockbuster games that are coming out around the same time as Rage. I think like Borderlands, it will be a game that people forget and after a few months pick up and say to themselves "how come I've missed this awesome game".. just like how it was with Borderlands. Enough talking... get the game, get your survival packet ready and enjoy this game!
