Portal 2 (Classic) Xbox 360

Brilliantly fun (and funny!) game

The original Portal was a great game, and Portal 2 (Classic) builds even further. It has amazing, varied environments, great storytelling and taxing puzzles (just the right level of difficulty - I only got stuck once!) The most surprising thing for many people will be how funny it is - as well as GlaDOS' cutting comments, we now also have Stephen Merchant's ramblings. There aren't many games that have made me literally laugh out loud while playing. And once you've completed the game, there's an extra co-op campaign to go at with a friend, plus the free DLC they've released for download! All in all, it's a fantastic game. The only bit it couldn't top from the original was the 'credit music'. It''s still good here, but the original's closing credits can't be topped.

excellent multiplayer

Portal 2 is a very nice game. I played it together with a friend and we had a lot of fun solving the riddles. I hoped there would have been more levels to finish.

Portal 2

I love Portal 2, and this is by far the best price on the net. Highly recommended for all game lovers.

After a short time gaming, I can say that Portal 2 is one of the most uniquely clever and innovative co-op experiences I have ever played. Of course the game has a single player portion, but the pondering through puzzling environments with a buddy is unmatchable fun and a real brain teaser!

The perfect game

When I first heard about Portal, I had no idea what kind of game it was. So, I received a copy of the game from a friend who had completed it over 5 times! I started playing the game and it wasn't that long, but it was certainly interesting and I enjoyed every minute. A couple of years later, this title shows up: PORTAL 2! I didn't hesitate for a second and pre-ordered it, because I loved the way of making your way through (almost) unsolvable puzzles by using a portal device that allows you to shoot portals and walk through them. Okay, you have to get the hang of it, but the game has an excellent way of teaching you the basic steps. For the rest, you have to find your own way through the game. The game has a magnificant story. You can't walk through a puzzle without laughing, because the voice actors are so good and the characters in the game are very well designed with lots of humour. As for the gameplay, well it's just spot on, no problems there. You just have to pick up this title. If you haven't played Portal 2 yet, you're missing out on one of the best games there has ever been! This game deserves nothing less than an 9.5/10!

Portal 2 has a nice story/solo mode with easy, first levels to familiarize with the use Portals. As the player progresses through the "chambers", more complicated puzzles appear, at the same time the plot is revealed. Despite being the second title, the game still stands out for its original, puzzling game style. I highly recommend.

Probably one of the best game of this generation. If you have played the first Portal game you cannot miss this one

Great Game for Everyone

I have to say it's one of the best games I've ever played. If you love action, with a little bit of puzzle this game is for you? I was never into puzzle games, then I played this and it seems not like a puzzle game, because of the action. Good ending, stay for the complete song at the end. If you want a fun game you can pay over and over this is the one for you!!!

Portal 2 is great. The graphics are good enough, the game has a great coop multiplayer.A creative game.

Nice game with a great concept, nice music... The first was cool, and this one is definitely awesome. The only negative point: a little bit short.

Pure excellence

Story of Portal continues. The game is excellent and proved to be much longer than I expected. Like the previous game, Portal 2 makes you laugh often. I you liked Portal, Portal 2 is a must buy.

Best game of 2011 so far

i absolutely loved this game, i really enjoyed the fists game - included in Orange box but the sequel is far superior! played from start to end and loved every minute of it- cracking puzzle game with loads of great ideas and challenges for the brain. Crazy robot characters and great online co-op play which include different levels to single player mode. Very original, very unique and very special. Please Buy it!

Portal 2

This is a really good game with a brilliant single player, its simple controls and some difficult levels make the game easy to get use to but difficult to complete without help and you will be left scratching your head completely confused. The graphics are really good and look really great in the game. The Co-Op missions are challenging and do need quite a bit of co-operation as they can't be done alone. This game is really good for if you don't care to much about a good multipayer and it does help improve your thinking speed and you will see your self playing through it more than once. Unfortunately because of nature of the game I did find the game play a little repetitive but the story line kept me going with its twists and turns. I only gave it 4 stars because of the lack of multiplayer, other than that its a great game.

hysterical and charming

This game is amazing! I bought it on a whim having only looked at what score it was given out of 10 and nothing else. The idea behind this game is something I have never come across before, you basically have to solve puzzles using a portal gun to get out of the room you are in. The gun itself has 2 types of portal one orange and one blue. You use this gun to get yourself to where ever you want to go or to get an item where you want it to go. For example you shoot the orange portal at a wall behind you, say you wanted to go to the other end of the room, you would aim your gun there and shoot the blue portal. Then you just walk through the orange one and find yourself coming out of the blue one on the other side of the room. It sounds a bit confusing but the game introduces it slowly and makes it easy to understand. The environment is a bit bleak as its based in some sort of lab, this is not to say the graphics are not good because they are. The voice acting is brilliant, the little robots you come across come out with funny one-liners making the game all the more enjoyable. The puzzles themselves can sometimes seem impossible but it turns out what you have to do is always pretty simple, the game gradually makes them more difficult so don't worry about not being able to get it as soon you put the game on. Also any new problems you have to deal with (such as laser beams) are slowly introduced. I myself have never enjoyed games with puzzles in them before as I always found I couldn't really do it and got very frustrated. With this game I have not been frustrated once so far, even when I was stuck as somehow the game is just enjoyable to play.

Masterpiece in Game History

Portal 2 is the sequel to Portal, which is a well known Part of the Orange Box. Gameplay You shoot with your Portal Gun to create a whormhole to another place. This is needed to solve the Testing Room you are currently in. You have a whole bundle of more abilities you can use. Like the light bridge, jumping gel, etc. ... Story You will have a lot of fun. Portal has a short, but very awesome and funny story. In Portal 2 you will be more satisified with an longer enduring period of funniest A.I jokes ever. Multiplayer Here you can play with a friend of yours to solve the testing room togehter ... but beware! 2 Portal Guns means more difficult testing rooms. All in all ... Portal 2 is a milestone in gaming history. I think if you never played Portal and had the portal effect once, you can not call yourself a gamer.
