Good graphics and the characters all look pretty good. Games have moved on slightly from this genre of one-on-one fighting, and I believe they need to introduce a new element to the game. Maybe an open world system like Assassin's Creed would be good!

Very nice

I bought Mortal Kombat for the Xbox 360 because I loved the old versions. I love the X-ray mode, it gives some cool bloody effects. It's an awesome game if you just want to play a short game of fighting.

Brilliant fighting game

Gameplay and graphic in this game are very well done. I especially like the combat system and the team-based gameplay increases the fun. My last Mortal Kombat was part 3 and I'm absolutely thrilled with the new Mortal Kombat. I strongly recommend for all beat em up fans.

Nostalgic gore-fest

Mortal Kombat is game for every kind of virtual fighter out there, with the many characters and their differing qualities and fighting mechanisms its ideal for every gamer. This game was enjoyable because of the intensified effects of the occuring battles, e.g. blood, gore etc. The story mode is very well done, especially for a fighting game! Cinematics and voice acting between battles tell a long and interesting story, and takes anything between 5-15 hours to clear depending on player skill and experience. Fun game for everyone, comes highly recommended.

Must have title!

A must have for Mortal Kombat fans and beat-em up fans in general. It adds new elements to the genre and it definitely is one of the better fighting games out at the moment. It easily holds its own against the Street Fighter series. In fact I would recommend Mortal Kombat to everyone. It is all so well developed and polished, the details and the love that is in this game show that they spared no effort during the production. In addition, the online section is carried out fine and is excellently playable. Mortal Kombat is a wonderful title, which is particularly fun to play with friends off-and online. What are you waiting for? Finish Him!
