Mass Effect 2 is perfect, highly recommended for all gaming and Mass Effect fans!
This game is amazing. Truly brilliant. I wasn't really into the Mass Effect Saga or a massive RPG fan, but more into Dragon age, and when that was over, I decided to try Mass Effect to kill time as I waited for the next DA. At first, I thought there was too much Sci-fi and 'tech' talks but soon fell into its intensively entertaining story. Before I finished ME1, I had already ordered Mass Effect 2, and when I finished and saw ME2 was out of stock everywhere, I almost burned down the house in annoyance and anticipation. Part 2 was even better because I was now way into the story and wanted more. I sincerely could not put my controller down and hardly slept but it was worth it. This was a brilliant buy and I'm now off to get ME3, regardless of the controversy. If you haven't gotten this game, do so now. If you haven't even tried Mass Effect 1, don't wait any longer. If it can convert a non Sci-fi lover into an avid fan, it's got to be good.
One of the best space role playing games I have ever played. Lots of variety in character class selection abilities. Good story line. You can transfer your character to Mass Effect 3. Game options effect the games outcome.
this game takes the alresdy kickass mass effect to new heights... much better shooter action, more character development and a fantastic ending. cannot wait for me3!
Great! Thanks a lot! Everything perfect!
If you liked the first game in the series, you will love Mass Effect 2! The second part of the story has some small changes, but the visuals are great! I high recommend you play this fantastic game.
Mass effect 2 is one of those rare games that come along and leave a smile on your face. The conversational trees bioware is famous for is very much present in the whole game and it feels like every decision you make has a cosequence. I wish games like this wouldn't finish but here's hoping mass effect 3 will be even better.
I have no doubts about the fact that Mass Effect 2 is a very good game. All the elements make it a good game, has evolved over the first and all signs point to an excellent final trilogy. Has many problems but if you want to watch it as a serious cinematic multimedia product for adults. Many would say that you can not compare with films or books but the callous ME2 requires nodes to be searched in the rush, is like a dark and mature experience for me is not. Reviews I've read many and I can say many people exaggerate how he impacted the story or how much the changes of character that were imported from ME. It's hard to enjoy something just for the first time anyone does. Admit is a nice gimmick and it's nice to see girls from the first game, but it just adds up. Saw girls. Do not feel like you had a major impact, almost everyone you meet that say "You know what to do first? Thanks! But to see what impact he would have Mass Effect on three! "Is thin and refusal to give the queue for it. I also give a shoutout to all artificial methods to increase during the game, Galactic map and they glorified mouse, cumbersome system of redundant resources gathered in the large picture of "Cerberus has huge funds blabla", hacking and bypassing, which although not are ill, interrupt the rhythm of the game. ME vs. ME2 ask? ME2 is the best shooter. While an RPG is worse. Two steps forward, one back. My Grade For This Game: Story: 8 Gameplay: 9 Sound: 9 Graphics: 10 Multiplayer: N / A Final Rating: 9
Having not played the first game I had no idea what to expect from ME2. However after just a couple of hours playing time I could only come to one conclusion, this is the best game I have ever played. From the very first mission it draws you in and won't let go. I spent the first half an hour or so just wandering round the Normandy (the ship on which you are based for the game), exploring the four decks which house your own living quarters/office, the armoury, the tech lab, flight deck & cargo hold among other things. The first things that struck me about the Normandy were the graphics and attention to detail, things which are carried on throughout the game making this one of the most visually beautiful games to date. The game starts with you assembling a team of various different alien races to assist in the main mission of stopping the Collectors, which takes up a number of hours gameplay in itself. Within a couple of hours the missions are building up rapidly to ensure you always have a vast selection of missions to choose from. Some of these can be completed in a matter of 10 minutes where others can take well over an hour, meaning the game should be a very long affair, which trust me is no bad thing. The only thing I found slightly confusing initially was navigating the various universes, but once you've worked it out it becomes second nature (and presumably if you have played the first game you already have an advantage). The combat controls are surprisingly easy to come to terms with considering how many different things there are to do. Overall this is a fantastic game for which I can't find one bad thing to say. Since purchasing the game I've struggled to put it down. It has drawn me in like no other game has for as long as I can remember.
A long wait, then the glimmer at the end of the tunnel... Mass Effect 2 was due for release! Anticipation! Will it be as good as the previous if not better? Short answer!? 'Expletive' YES!!!!! Everything has been subtly improved, not too much as to steer away from the 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it' adage but enough so you feel like the game's creators really took on board the criticisms of the first game and really made it their own with this next stage in the ongoing story of Shepard! The down side? Where do you go from here? Amazing quality in all aspects of this game but damn have they made it hard for themselves for the next instalment! Waiting with baited breath (already going purple, lol)
Outstanding - A definite must have in your Xbox collection! The game itself lasts a while and never gets tiring, you can go from planet to planet scouting for mission or taking their resources. Side quests for your companions to gain loyalty! Excellent storyline and amazing graphics. If you haven't got this game already BUY IT NOW!
This game is outstanding and is by far the best game i have ever played on any console ever before. With Mass Effect 2 your not only getting a game, but a film in some ways, where on other games cut scenes and conversation is boring, in mass effect 2 it adds to the intense drama of the story. Graphics are outstanding especially on the cut scenes and the game-play is as sharp and crisp as anything to. I was disappointed to find when i inspected the game on arrival the corner of the case was cracked slightly, however the true excellence of this game makes up for any cover damage. Even if i just got sent the discs I would still be amazed by this truly fantastic game.
If you haven't played the first Mass Effect then what are you doing reading this? Go press buy on Mass Effect! If you have played Mass Effect then you are in for a real treat. Everything annoying about ME1 has been smartened: - Driving the Mako has been removed - Graphics texture pop-in has been elminated - Lift scenes removed and replaced with more colourful loding screens. The game is an RPG with some TPS/Squad tactics and manages to deliver an improved experience from the original title in every way. Missions are entwined with the main plotline and the action is smoother and more 'frantic' than it was before. The main control system is still in place and the tweaks to the classes and the way you level your skills is a very nice improvement. People said that playing Modern Warfare 2 was like playing a movie. THIS really is playing a movie. Cut scenes using the game engine seamlessly add to the ambience of the story and the amount of control over dialogue is fantastic. Situational interuptions based upon your 'karma' levels add a sense of being involved and the graphics never cease to astound. There are so many little additions to the game that are tiny frills but make the overall game so much more than just a sequel. Overall this is the best Action RPG currently available on the X360. No quarrel.
