Halo: Reach Xbox 360

You played Halo 1 and/or 2? Then play this!

Halo Reach is my first Xbox 360 title and suprised me with an interesting story, new weapons and (finally!) new enemy types. Buy this and you'll have some nice time in single AND multiplayer (a good buddy for coopgaming recommended!).

Buy it, don't consider, do it!

This game simply is one of my favourite at this present time, No game has come close to this for it's pure brilliance of a storyline and the multiplayer is mind blowing. For £13 it is a no brainer :)

Where it all began...

Since Xbox that Halo had been the exclusive game for the Microsoft consoles i enjoyed most, the world created is very unique, excellent gameplay and very entertaining multiplayer. Halo Reach is one more game that show to everyone how Halo series has become a very successfull IP. In the game you play has Noble 6 and you will understand how the battle began between the humans and the covenant. You make part of the Noble Team who met a scientist that inform you about the plans of the covenant. The action takes place on Reach, a planet which is on the brink of being destroyed and where you and your team do various missions with great storytelling and very appealing cinematic moments. Travelling to various places like the city of New Alexandria or some desert plains, always with great design and big places that makes you think you are on a open world game! One of the best things about Halo games is the gameplay, it is one of the most intuitive first person shooters, you decide how you accomplish your objectives by taking everyone out in a huge battle or use stealth to your advantage. Almost every vehicles you see in the game are playable, so prepare to drive around vast scenarios with a buggie while your team mate kill all those bastards with the gun in the back! These are probably the moments i most enjoyed while playing the game, no game does this better than Halo that's for sure! In Halo Reach has also been introduced for the first time in the series, some levels where you control a starship in space, and it works very well. Expect diverse weapons as always and some are new. The sound is pretty good too, the voices are good and the music enters in the right moments to keep you in the action and feeling you are on a movie. About the multiplayer, you can play on co-op with a local friend or up to 4 people online. Play through the campaign or some specific levels. There is the common team deathmatch, capture the flag and much more modes. All multiplayer modes are very addictive, there is no lag and when it will keep you hours in front of the TV to higher your rank, earn more money to buy new content ingame. This is a game full of content, from the single player campaign to the great multiplayer, you have a game with a vast longevity. The DLC is also a way to extend that, and Bungie released great content for the game. On top of that, the campaign can feel that it was made to be played on cooperative, and the players who love the single experience may be a little disappointed. The graphics can also be better but the fluidity compensate this. I guess there isn't more defects i would point, the game is excellent. Concluding my review, this is the Halo experience everyone was waiting, a game full of content that will steal your social life, an addictive game like no other, will appeal to FPS gamers but will also be a real good experience to everyone who enjoy an action game. It is a must have for any 360 owner, buy it now or you will never know how Halo began...

A fitting end to the Bungie legacy...

To finish a story we must go back to the beginning... That is exactly the tone taken with the penultimate game in the Halo series from the creators Bungie. By going back to the battle for Reach, before we play the role of the famous protagonist Master Chief, we must see how the state of affairs got to being so. So how does it work as a continuum of the Halo universe? It is a wonderful compliment to the series and after (arguably) dipping in terms of its single-player storyline delivery over the last couple of releases (Halo: ODST and Halo 3), the talented Bungie devs have managed to pull it out of the bag creating a wonderfully moody, characteristic and almost personally affecting ending to the story. With the recent re-release of Halo Combat Evolved: Anniversary from 343 Studios, this is an excellent way to say goodbye to the Bungie perspective and it is delivered with aplomb. Excellent storyline, visuals, exceptional sound and gameplay that defined pretty much every first-person shooter on the market today, from control schemes to delivery of an intoxicating experience. I whole-heartedly recommend this wonderful, wonderful addition to the Halo legacy.

The Best graphics so far in the halo game series not experienced the new remake of halo yet .. Very smooth graphics Action Packed since you start the campain.. I had to give it 5 stars..

Halo Reach

Halo: Reach is a very good game there is only one real Spartan, but these guys will fill up the hole quite nicely. Good graphics and not too short. Could be longer and air missions with enemy aircraft would have been nice touch but all in all it's a good game which could be recommended for anyone who loves a spot of action.

You have a full single or cooperative multiplayer campaign, the best online game of this generation and a great local multiplayer all in one package. The online section offers many modes and options to choose from and also Firefight mode, in which you defend yourself and your team against an enemy horde. Buy Halo today. Great game. And a very fast delivery! The singelpayer is a little bit short but the multiplayer is one of the best i've ever played. 5 Stars!

Halo: Reach is a great game, The single player mode is excellent but a bit on the short side. Halo's multiplayer modes are the 'real deal'. So many modes and options to choose from. Firefight also adds a nice dimension to online play. Really glad I purchased this game now and would highly recommend this.

To me the first Halo was the best, i've played all the games and have to say this one probably even beats the first game, a really good return to the franchise anyone with a 360 should sample this beauty- and at this price its a bargain!

This is a game that is! new graphics than Halo 3 and a very good story, if you like fps you possess, not only because it is a halo, but also because it is a great game 5 stars!

This is far best shooter game in my books. I love the graphics and all the armour for your Spartan and also on forge you can make your own buildings and then play on them with your friends. If you are into shooting and you don't like other shooters, this could be the game for you.

Fist of all I have to say that I have played and completed all of the Halo games (the first three, and then ODST). Now this is, to me, the best Halo game ever, and probably also the best FPS I've ever played. - The story is absolutely amazing and the characters are all great. Now anyone familiar with the Halo series knows how this one ends, but it still feels great to be a part of a desperate struggle for human survival. - The graphics look awesome, by far the best in the halo series, the landscapes etc look really breathtaking. - The controls are just perfect, easy to use, intuitive, just perfect. Now as far as the single player is concerned, you'll get around 10 to 12 hours out of it in a moderate difficulty setting. On top of that, you can replay it, activating "skulls" which make it really really hard (for instance double enemy health, make grunts explode like a grenade when you headshot them, play without having your shields recharging...). The Firefight mode is also back from ODST, and has been improved. The main idea is still the same, you have to defend an area as long as possible against waves of Covenants (you can customize absolutely everything, like the weapons, the frequency of waves, the different vehicles, you can activate the same "skulls" as in the campaign...). And, again on top of that, there's the online multiplayer, which has, by far, the best matchmaking system of all time. Finding a game has never been this easy, whether you're in a party or not, you can decide to play only with players having the same level as you do , or located in you area ... There is an outstanding number of modes to play, a huge amount of maps, plenty of customizable options etc .... You also get to choose armor abilities, like being able to be almost invisible for a time, being able to sprint, to have a jetpack etc....., which make the game yet more varied and more enjoyable. And, again, again on top of that (there really IS a whole lot to do in halo reach), you have the Forge mode, that allows you to create multiplayer maps, with a ridiculous amount of options, and that you can try ON THE FLY, with no loading times. Of course, the best Forge Maps become available in regular matchmaking ! And then, you also have to know that you can play the campaign, the forge mode, and the firefight mode online and offline, alone, with a friend next to you, or with someone at the other end of the world, which is pretty great. So, as you can see, you really get what you paid for, and also WAY MORE. There is a ridiculous amount of fun to have and of stuff to do in Halo Reach, so you have absolutely no excuse of not PICKING THIS ONE UP if you're into FPSs, because you'd be missing out on what could be the best and most complete FPSs of all time, until now.

Halo Reach

Halo Reach was an excellent game and the graphics were amazing, making you feel like a real spartan soldier within the game. The range of weaponry, both covenant and spartan are designed brilliantly, including the ammo. Being able to design your own spartan was an added bonus and the range of colors was much appreciated. With many other levels to play instead of just campaign, I was never bored while playing it. This was the first Halo I played and (for me) was a great introduction to the Halo game series.

It blew me away and with every Halo game got better in every way. Halo Reach left me breathless. Graphics, storyline it has the works yet again Bungie has set a very high benchmark. Anyone considering this don't ponder on it. Get this title - total 10 out of 10.

This game is amazing! The graphics are brill and the customisation is great. This is a must have and an awesome finale to the Bungie games.

Remember Reach. The games tag line pretty much sums up the game. This is a game to be renumbered for years to come, not only is the story superb (Kudos to Bungie for another excellent campaign), the graphics are an improvement and the good ol' Halo formula with tweaks makes this a game to last for a long time. Firstly, the story, personally my favorite of the Halo games, it has many twists and unexpected scenes. And even though we know the end from the beginning, the build up is very well crafted. The graphics are brilliant, it really feels like a next-gen game, which Halo 3 lacked in visually. The real meat is the multiplayer. The addicting matchmaking returns, and you will always find a match due to Halo's strong fanbase. The fun really kicks of in Firefight where you and 3 other comrades take on an endless amount of covenant. The customization options is infinite and i could go on for pages but alas the character count is about to run out! Overall, 9.8/10.

What a title!!!!!!! Much improved from Halo 3 in graphics and game play. Loads of nice little touches to the game including the suit customisations. By far the multiplayer is the best part of the game allowing users to vote for a map before each round. Microsoft, 2 massive thumbs up for this..... you've saved the best til last. 5 star

Halo: Reach is not only brimming with excellent content, but it's also bursting with possibilities. The exciting campaign, addictive Firefight mode, and dynamic competitive multiplayer make it one of the best shooters around. The extensive customization options, powerful Theater tools, and staggering Forge capabilities make it one of the most malleable and socially engaging games on consoles. And the slick menu system brings it all together with remarkable simplicity. Though its deep roots may not win over those who haven't enjoyed previous games in the series, Halo: Reach is a towering achievement that delivers an enormous amount of engaging content that players will no doubt be enjoying for years to come.

Reach is undoubtedly a keeper of a game, graphics are spectacular and the cut sequences leave you wanting more! they can also be skipped for those impatient gamers out there. The online side of this game is immense with options to suit every gamer, including an updated firefight option that allows you to matchmake which was sadly missing from ODST I would say definatly winner of game of the year if it wasn`t for the likes of NFS hot pursuit, and COD black ops still to be released

TOP Game

I was completely absorbed in Halo: Combat Evolved, I haven't played a Halo game since then and I tried them all. Halo REACH is by far the best of the series, it dragged me into the story and I am still playing it over and enjoying it every second. The story is gripping and intense, and since the game is a prequel, to the Halo series, offers a lot of insight into the beginning of the SPARTAN program. Story 5/5 The story is amazing as it is, but doesn't even come close to how much fun is to be had online. Story 5/5 Online Multiplayer is massively entertaining. There are many different game modes for every flavour of player. Co-op means you can have 3 friends playing on your console with you online and having a blast. Multiplayer 5/5 All-in-all this is a beautifully polished game that can entertain all types of players. It allows you to make your own replays of amazing action in online games and even allows you to make your own levels so that your creativity is the limit, all of which you can play with friends online as well. Enjoy this game, it's well worth the purchase!

The Best Halo So Far

I've played all the Halo Games so far and played this one at a gaming expo. Bungie have really worked hard to create unique graphics and gameplay, a new campaign, totally different from anything else and a fantastic multiplayer experience. It is by far the best Halo so far and Bungie will have a hard time improving it for a new Halo!!
