    Its taken a long time but the first F1 game on the xbox has arrived and it does not disappoint. The tracks are detailed and the handling is very responsive. The game allows you to pick and choose the level of difficulty by turning on/off various driver aids such as gears and traction control. This should appease arcade fans and hard core sim fans. The game offers a career mode allowing up to seven years with various goals in various teams, There is also media interaction, however, this is quite limited and could do with further development in future titles. Personally I have found this to be a title worth purchasing and a fine first effort for codemasters in the F1 genre. My main criticism is that the game talks about conserving engines by reducing revs etc, however, you do not seem to be able to retire through mechanical problems so this seems pointless. In addition at the start there is no zoom on the lights so if you are at the back of the grid they are hard to see. Overall though a very good F1 game that easilys surpasses many previous F1 console titles. Thank you TheHut.
