    Dark Souls is AWESOME!

Dark Souls is very hard! Every action is non removeable! You DIE and DIE and DIE all the time... at the beginning! But later, when you know how to, you RULE! No map! No help! You have to find the RIGHT way to solve the quests! You have to find the sellers of spells and items! NO MERCY! BUT THE BEST GAME I PLAYED SINCE "Call of Chuthulu" and "Zelda - Ocarina of Time"!

    Dark Souls

Dark Souls is a fantastic challenge. It's not an easy game and it is proudly advertised as a game in which you will die. Which is correct; the game will try to kill you over and over again. But man, what satisfaction when you advance through this open fantasy RPG world. Highly recommended game, the graphics on XBOX360 are great and the gameplay is excellent. 5/5

    Be absorved by the dark

Dark Souls is amazing! By far the best dungeon crawler I have enjoyed, and I have played a lot. The game is challenging but rewarding. It is a game in which the tactics and the strategy in building up the character and the weapons and armour is very important. The environment is dark, immersing, and very captivating. I have played over 120 hours to the game, and still not tired of playing. I am on its third play trough. And I do no usually play the games once passed. Concluding, a great game for the hardcore and the ones that want a challenging but rewarding experience. If you are finding for a great plot or a easy game, then stay away of this game.

    Difficult, brutal but damn fun

To put it straight, Dark Souls is a hard game that will reward you the more and more you play it. For instance, I was slayed by the games second boss numerous times, until I re-evaluated the situtation and found a unique way to defeat it. This is how the game has been for me - use the enviroment to your advantage and master blocking and rolling and everything comes together quite wonderfully. The game does not hold your hand - I will honestly say straight away if you don't like it when you are left to discover gameplay elements by yourself, then don't buy this - while there is a tutorial area, it is brief and only skims over the basics. Experiment and learn the controls to win. I highly recommend this to people that are willing to learn to play in a whole new way - the game isn't a clone of anything else - don't expect God of War esque combat, as you will get nowhere by button mashing, but merely take this on its own credit and play by its rules. No matter what, if you keep at it, you will come out the victor and discover that this game is by far one of the best and most rewarding of 2011!

    Prepare to die.

Dark Souls is a refreshing game that is annoyingly hard in the beginning. Then you begin to learn how it works and then it gets even harder. It still remains fair though. Highly recommeneded but maybe not for the more casual gamers.

    Old school perfection

You'll be tossed into a world filled with demons and dangers that will use tons of tricks just to kill you, and they will succeed some times, you will be focused as your gaming senses will be pushed to the edge. You're going to need to learn how to survive and proceed to victory the hard way of death. This game is amazing, and I had great time with it, and when I noticed that it was possible to face all of the challenges in your path together with people sharing the very same goal on line, it was an amazing experience from start to end. Challenging, but rewarding.

Dark Souls requires intense focus, This isn't a lighthearted romp in a bright and colourful fantasy world; it's a methodical journey into the frightening unknown and that's what makes it so riveting. Some games try to scare you with bump-in-the-night shocks and far-off howls, but Dark Souls doesn't require such predictable methods of terror. Its terrors emanate from its very core, each step bringing you closer to another inevitable death. How amazing that such a terrible place could be so inviting. The game's world is so memorable, and its action so thrilling, that it might invade your thoughts even when you aren't playing, silently urging you to escape the real world and return to this far more treacherous one. Dark Souls doesn't just surpass other dungeon crawlers; it skewers them with a razor-sharp halberd and leaves behind their soulless corpses.
