Borderlands is a great game, with all add-ons for great price. Game itself is very good, decent graphics and COOP multiplayer for up to 4 people. Takes quite long time to beat too! If you are looking for wicked fun, try Borderlands.

Great Game

Borderlands: Game of the Year Edition is a very good game. It merges simple RPG mechanics with a FPS, and has tons of different weapons. The storyline is also very interesting, even if not so original. The only downside is the importance of getting some good weapons in difficult moments, as without them you risk to dying. This problem stops after the first 20 levels, when you have a wider choice of weapons. The expansions give a little more to the game, and being included in the edition for that price is really worth it.

Awesome singleplayer and multiplayer game!

Borderlands is simply just as good as Borderlands 2: same great comic graphics, same gameplay, different fascinating story. No wonder this game collected so many awards. Overall Borderlands is a great deal, because you'll get not only the predecessor but the just as good prequel to the game of the year 2012 for a low price. Borderlands is real fun in multiplayer & singleplayer mode. You can switch between both modes easily and continue the story with the same character. A splitscreen mode is also available, but not recommended for resolutions lower than 1080p. My TV supports 720p / 1080i only and as a result of that the character menu cannot fully be displayed for both players - major downside. You can scroll the menu with the right stick but this is not practical at all. Conclusion: Awesome game for a small price, with downsides in splitscreen mode. Must Buy for all role-play and action-shooter lovers.

This game is very addictive with lots of missions and challenges to complete. Add to that the 4 expansion packs are all included and this is a great value for money game!

It is a very good game with top quality game play and fun graphics. Based on what I have read about the game, there are hours of game play to keep the user interested for a long time and with all four game expansion packs included it is a great buy.

Love Borderlands already. Only just got it. Loads to do and it's really fun to play, especially with all the different guns you get to mess about with. Excellent value for money, can't go wrong.

Excellent game, Excellent Price

An amazing game you could spend hours playing! The game of the year edition comes with all four DLC which are almost as good as the main game. It has 80 achievements for you to gnaw your way through, if that's your sort of thing. Also it has up to four player co-op, so you don't have to face the troubles of Pandora alone. To conclude, this game is a must buy for shooter fans and those who are bored at the moment waiting for games later in the year.

I bought the Borderlands: GOTY Edition as it was a good price and comes with all the expansion packs included. I am very impressed with the game, it is a fun game to play and is based on the third-person RPG shooter genre. An easy to use interface and plenty of humorous moments make it an excellent game to play.

It Brillant game to play co-op with friends and bought it from The hut online which is excellent deal to buy than anywhere else i can find online,would highly recommended this to anyone to have look in The Hut website with good service and good deal to buy anything to compare it before buy eslewhere.

Fantastic game and with all the add ons this game is a must.It has great graphics and great game play to match.It's a first person shooter role playing game with vehicles to drive and guns galore.You lvl up and get new skills and invest points into them,you do quests sell and buy items and this game is playable by novices and pros alike.You cant faulter this game and at this price you cant refuse to buy it,it gets a full 5 out of 5 from me.

Probably one of the best FPS around though maybe not the absolute best but who cares. Its definitely worth it as the Game of the Year range shows with loads of add ons and with its multiple playthrough option its a keeper. I haven't tried the co-op but that looks mad as well so for those that are into online multiplayer you should check this out as you may miss out on something spectacular. This version comes in two disks, the first disk is the game and the second disk is all the additional content.

Huge variety of weapons, great co-op and open world, make this otherwise average game a great buy.

guns and quests of a mad max-esque world

Borderlands starts as an action packed RPG in a comic drawn world. It also boasts the biggest amount of different guns to find, buy or sell but as you get drawn into the big open world of Pandora (not to be confused with womens jewellery) turns into more of a first person shooter, with more action and quests the higher your rank. I've put about 15-20 hours into the game so far and I haven't even started with the expansion packs for nearly £13 it is a must buy bargain with 4 expansion packs included in the game of the year edition. Anyone who has played oblivion or fallout will enjoy the action starts after about 10 minutes of play.

Role-play Shooter?

The wild west theme, post-apocalypse landscape, a string of hilarious one liners, a role-playing system and a first person shooter all came together to form Borderlands. For the moment you start you are greeted with beautiful cell-shaded graphics and plenty of comedy as you venture into the desolate world of Pandora. At the start you select 1 of 4 characters each with special abilities and begin your story as a treasure seeker in search of the mysterious vault. The story is a little weak for a large game like this, however, the gameplay makes up for this 10 fold! Each weapon is different and randomly generated so you could pick up exactly the same gun only to find that they have different stats and perks. This game is riddle with comedy and through the 'game of the year edition' you will be able to explore much, much more of an already massive game. The sound is brilliant, the animations are smooth and the atmosphere addictive. As said before the main story is a little weak but the add-on packs and gameplay remedy this. The game does suffer from the unreal engine pop-in textures but this does not subtract in any way from the entertainment value. If you are fond of games such as Fallout 3, Bioshock and even Call of Duty. Then is is definitely the game for you. The comedy is dry and hilarious but be warned this is an addictive game and before you know it many weeks might have passed you by.

Borderlands - GOTY - what a excellent package!

I just received and tested my copy of the game of the year edition Borderlands. Even though the original edition was exciting enough i got tired of it because it seemed to focus on on-line playing, and I am more towards single player, story-driven action games. Gladly I found the extra episodes in this package to be very much of my taste. I highly recommend this game.

Great game i love it

The game came in 2 disks. The first is the Game Disk and the second is the Expansion Disk. Included with a Duke Nukem Unique Access code and a great map/poster and a colored manual . Really thanks to The Hut and to the international free shipping.

Borderlands review

This game is unique it's not just your average shooter, this is the first of it's kind mixing RPG elements into FPS gaming. This means that as you run around an desolate world ( Pandora ) you can level up your selected character with experience points gained from the enemies you kill. It is not a short game either, it will last you more then 16 hours of play, the expansions are really worth playing as they add new story and missions in the game. Another advantage would be the near endless numbers of weapons to be found (over 1 million weapons) which is particularly unique and clever. Furthermore the co-op this game offers ensures that you can have plenty of enjoyment playing through with your friends. The only downside is that the gameplay is so frantic that you can easily lose track of the story. Overall I recommend this game to anyone who enjoys a good multiplayer FPS.

This is a great, great Game

Borderlands was one of my first xbox 360 games and is still a very beloved one for me! if you have a friend who also likes to play shooters it's even more a blast! cooperative gaming at its best! the good thing is, that also the amazing DLCs (all are good except mad moxxi) are included! very recommended game, especially for that price!
