I am big fan of the first two games and this third part instalment in the series does not disappoint. Game play is as you would expect. Graphics, sound and story are all top notch. Once you complete the game, there is so much more to do in multiplayer/co-op mode. Looking forward to see what Naughty Dog brings out next.

Best Uncharted so far

I am a huge fan of the Uncharted series, so my review might be biased. I also own the previous two games, but this is one is the best so far. Great graphics and the same gameplay. They got everything right, and for this price it must be part of your collection.

Almost better

Kudos to Naughty Dog for trying to improve what already was a polished and great gaming experience. However, they took a backwards step. The only real game play improvement is that Drake can finally throw grenades back to the enemy. The issue is that most enemies are running around and so you also have to run from cover to cover to avoid being killed by a shotgun from up close and the annoying armored enemies are also back. You cannot just stay in the same cover and pick out the enemies one by one anymore. There are more platforming sections and they play the same, they are just as fun as they used to be. The over the top action and the atmosphere is still there, still an amazing cinematic experience. It is hard to tell when the action starts and cut scenes end. When it comes to the plot it is built from the usual elements, Drake and company are looking for a lost city and so does an enemy. The characters are cut scenes are great, it is an action flick that seem to do everything right. If possible, the visuals are improved from the last one, you really have to see it to be able to appreciate it. Sadly, the game is only about eight hours long. Overall, this is a great experience well worth buying but be warned, the second Uncharted game was just a bit better.

The game took a while to arrive here, but I guess the delay was caused by the post office and not by The Hut. In fact, I have to say that the follow up from your part was very complete until the moment of shipping. And even after, when I emailed your customer services about the delay, you were very thoughtful and objective on the answer. This was my first purchase on The Hut, and despite the worry about the delay I guess my overall opinion about your services is very positive. If I may, I recommend that, for EU deliveries, you provide the id number of the package at the post office. So we can track the status of the delivery and avoid the inevitable worries.

Uncharted 3: My Review

OK let me start by saying that I liked first and second Uncharted very much but I was little sceptical about this because I thought that I wouldn't be interested in these kind of 'adventure games' any more. I wanted bigger and more complex games like Skyrim, Fallout, Red Dead Redemption etc... But I decided to try this and I'm in love with the series again. I think that Uncharted and Demon's Souls are the only good exclusives that PS3 has, the rest are just decent. I don't know what to say about this game; more than very entertaining story, fun to play, and good puzzles that are not too easy and not too hard either. You should play previous titles first though, they still are good today and graphics don't feel outdated.

Uncharted 3

As a follow up to 1 & 2 expectations we're already pretty high as they were amazing games. Once again Uncharted has become one of the best story based games of the year, keeping its cinematic style and unique controls. A few surprise storyline features bring new and exciting content for the game, bettering that of its predecessors. I did not stop playing until I had completed. If I had to choose a let down it would only be that the story could have possibly been longer if the multiplayer modes had been cut down as they arent very popular anyway. Uncharted is all about the campaign missons and it should stay like that. Awesome game. If you liked 1 & 2 you HAVE to add this to your collection.

Uncharted 3... to begin with, I would like to say that I enjoyed every part of Uncharted... the story, the graphics, the action, the cinematics, everything is well put together. This game is an absolute jewel...it keeps you holding on the controller till the very end. The story is intense and it takes you all over the world. The multiplayer is awesome! It's like you are playing a single player campain, only Sully and Elena are now your on-line friends. In conclusion I recommend this game to those action-adventure fans out there.

Uncharted 3 doesn't really progress upon its predecessor. It does however retain all its strengths and remains a great PS3 exclusive. The action and set-pieces remain fantastic. This is a boys-own-adventure that is as thrilling and exciting as Indiana Jones and is a truly cinematic experience. This does lead the title to be story driven, and therefore linear in design. Drakes handy notebook always seems to have clues just as the plot needs them (perhaps its also written in some magic ink, as the pages appear where they were not before) and several story holes remind (perhaps as seeds for other games to answer). Yet, the gameplay is thrilling. Cover shooter, puzzle adventure, action platformer, this title is a jack of all trades and (almost) a master as well. It never stops being "fun" and the variety in play means boredom is never an issue. The AI is strong and the level design just flows. A rental may be best for the single player inclined .. but... This is a complete package. Included is a co-op (splitscreen available) side story, which actually requires teamwork to complete and despite being less cinematic is just as much fun. And the multi-player. This is what I had hoped Brink would have been..a parlour running gunplay fun festival. Lag is minimal, the controls are just as tight as in the main game and large levels make it more than a straight-up deathmatch. Whist the perk unlock system does provide motivation for continued play, it also does unbalance the game for new players, but level-ups are fairly quick so its a short-term problem. As a complete package its good value.

Uncharted 3: Not to be missed!

OK, I might be a big fan of the Uncharted games but really this game is fantastic. Not only for the quality of the graphics and the playability but also for the story. If you love adventure games, you have to play Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception. The great thing about it is that even if you finish the story mode, you can still play the game online for ages with unknown people and friends (online and co-op mode). A must buy!

More Uncharted, but it never looked so good

Uncharted 3 is not a huge departure from Uncharted 2. It's bigger and better, and considering the quality of the predecesser there's not much to complain about. Also, graphically it's significantly improved, and that's pretty crazy considering how good Uncharted 2 looked. There's also great banter between the crew. Highly recommended.
