best tennis simulation
Other titles like Virtua Tennis, Grand Slam are more arcades. TS4 needs half hour to understand how to play. Graphics are a bit poor if you compare with other actual games but professional players moves are very realists: Nadal drive, forehand (with two hands).
Good Game (career mode ups and downs)
I got Top Spin because it appeared to have the most "in-depth" career mode. In the career mode (because that's all I play), it does have several ups and downs for me personally: + A lot of Tournaments, + Good (but sometimes limiting) ranking system, + Nice little touch with the "Special Events" where you can gain XP and fans through various events. - I would've liked more AI players in the game - not just top 80 but maybe a top 200 to make it feel more real with a bigger "rise to stardom". - I would've have also liked more doubles influence - a choice between partners as well as a coach and doubles tournaments. Other than that it is a solid mode but as I said, I'd prefer a bigger "world" in a sense of players because I've played the same guys so many times now in the early rounds as the the pool of players is quiet small.

Top Spin 4 is an essential for tennis lovers and sport fanatics. In my opinion I think it's better that virtua tennis 4 aswell. The only reason I gave it a 4star instead of 5 star is because it can be really frustrating at points, apart from that it's an excellent game and it's a nice cheap price.

Top Spin 4 is an excellent game! Graphics, gameplay, almost everything in this game is excellent. I'm completely addicted to career mode! 5 stars!
Amazing title!
Top Spin 4 is an amazing tennis video game! You can play with nowadays characters but also with champions who made tennis history. Gameplay is excellent, on high level. The game supports online gaming with many features and tournaments. You can also create your own character, upgrade him or her and play with them online.
Great tennis game
Top Spin 4 really does come closer than any tennis game to date when it comes to capturing the real essence of one of sport's most graceful games. There's a way to go before match point is won by a virtual tennis game, but Top Spin 4 is definitely a couple of sets up, at least.
