Description
The Darkness II is the sequel to the critically-acclaimed 2007 release, The Darkness, and features an original story by acclaimed comic writer Paul Jenkins.
It’s been two years since Jackie Estacado, now Don of the Franchetti crime family, used The Darkness to kill the men responsible for his girlfriend’s murder. He’s been unable to shake the memory of Jenny’s death since bottling up his supernatural power and now The Darkness wants out.
A sudden, unprovoked attack on Jackie’s life heralds the start of a full-scale mob war which has clearly been orchestrated by some outside force. The botched attempt opens the door for The Darkness to re-emerge, and sets Jackie on a journey to hell and worse as he unravels the mystery behind the attack and the motivations of The Darkness itself.

Amazing-Fantastic
If you have been bored by FPS games as of late, then The Darkness II Limited Edition is for you. It does almost everything right. The combat is amazing, you are given a multitude of powers, you can execute people to regain health, ammo, or power, you can throw black holes, you can channel dark energy through your guns, you can throw bodies and foreign objects at enemies. The game just does a fantastic job at making you feel powerful. The story is one of the best I have seen in a game. It's not as good as the first game, but considering how good the first game was, that is nothing to be ashamed of. The only shortfall of the game really is its length, which comes out at around 6 or 7 hours.
Show your dark side
Nice game that brings fresh wind to the genre. I needed some time to get used to but then it felt quite good to be bad.

The Darkness II
This is a great FPS, with a Dark theme (Darkness is based in a series of comics by the way), a nice change of style from the conventional FPS in the market. The game feature very nice and innovative cell-shaded graphics (like Borderlands, but in a sinister way), and you have other "weapons" than the usual guns, that being two "dark creatures", that can eat the soul of the enemies, but you have to manage the environment too, because you're vulnerable to light. For whom have played the original game, it's like the experience of the first one, but much more refined. The game also features a Multiplayer and "Horde" like mode.

5 stars game, very good plot with cool scenarios. Recommended 100% and this limited edition includes cool bonus content!!!
