For all anime fan RPG players this is the definitive version of the game. XBox 360 users complained about the forced localization with the voice acting and before all new character portraits this international version is the proper release. Japanese voices and anime art included. The gameplay is true to the roots of the series but feels fresh and dynamic enough to be entertaining throughout the whole adventure. With an interesting space these but conventional RPG-ish feeling main characters the game is for all RPG connoisseurs but especially for the everyday otaku.
Actually this game's quite good. The story, battle system and sound, all are good. But one thing that really annoys me is the characters. Not all of the characters, only one or two of them that really annoy me. But if you are fans of JRPG and can endure that annoying character, you should try this one.
Throwback to the more classic RPG era. Reminds me of Chrono Trigger with the gameplay. Enjoy the option to use original Japanese dialogue with English subtitles. For fans of Squaresoft RPGs from the SNES days, this maybe one to try out.
