Very entertaining!

Rayman Origins is perfect for spending an enjoyable evening with many friends! Besides, the graphics are very good, especially for this PS3 version! I recommend it to everyone, both youngsters and adults, it's great value for money.

Rayman Origins is an excellent platformer. I had a lot of fun getting a platinum trophy for this game. The game requires a lot of skill for some levels, as the difficulty is sometimes high. This didn't get frustrating for me because it all comes down to skill as luck is practically nonexistent in this game. This ensured that dying never felt unfair and made me want to try better next time (even after 20-30 deaths on some of the hardest levels).

Rayman Origins

The game has wonderful 2D-style-graphics (full-HD), incredible old-style painted scenarios, very colorful: I love it. The music sounds good, funny and gives the correct ambient, for a platformer. The game mechanics is quite simple and the controls are correct. The only thing I don't like 100% is the difficulty, the game is quite tricky: simply completing the stage is simple, but getting enough lumies to get the prices is quite difficult, that's not the problem, the problem is that you need a lot of them to advance to higher levels. Be prepared for repeating some levels several times. but, all in all its a very good acquisition.

A very funny oldschool platformer

Rayman origin feels oldschool and fresh at the same time. It's mechanics are like any platformer we played when we were kids, but with beatiful graphics and sounds. It doesn't even have online play, making you call your brother or your friend to play with you, sitting next to each other just as a coop platformer is meant to be played. If you want a game that is fun, fresh, original, beatiful and especially if you have someone to play the up to 4 players coop feature... don't hesitate to buy this game. I'm very glad I did

The Best platformer game on PS3

Running, jumping, climbing, flying, falling, sliding, swinging, swimming, diving, shooting, fighting, breaking, chasing, discovering, collecting, solving, thinking...!!!! And really a lot of it! On almost 60 unique levels with hidden areas, boss challenges and records to break. All of this with beutiful eye-chatching graphics and nice music. Ultimate package of fun for kids, teenagers and even their parents as you can play the entire game in up to 4 players co-op style. Only thing to wish for - Rayman Origins 2 :).

Rayman Origins is a blast! The graphics are just amazing! Everything has been hand drawn and the level of detail is just mind blowing. Every stage looks gorgeous and you'll find yourself looking at the background amazed. The gameplay is the real champion here though. Simple and super fun is the best definition for Rayman Origins. Especially if you play with friends, which I highly recommend, then you'll just see those hours fly by while you co-operate and compete in 50+ levels. A must buy for any Rayman lover!

2D awesomeness

Rayman Origins is a masterpiece of gaming. The game looks so beautiful, all the backgrounds and characters are hand draw with vibrant colours and remarkable detail. The controls are tight and you can only blame yourself for poorly timed leaps to your death. Co-op is the best way to introduce this game to a novice, even if you spend half the time beating each other up. It shows games don't have to be 3D to be any good. Well done Ubisoft

Great but too easy

This game as almost the same gameplay as "New super Mario Bros" on Wii. You can play buy yourself or with 3 other players on local. It's nice to have two ways to play the game but, keep in mind that playing with more people will make the game way easier. So it's up to you to decide if you want the game to last for a while or rush through it with friends or relatives. The graphics looks awesome overall, and the level design really keeps you from being bored. Every new world introduce new mechanics, the characters gets more abilities as you progress, and you got bonus levels to unlock. The main difference with Mario Bros, is that you do not have a life count here, it's infinite to respawn. This game is a lot of fun no matter how you play it. A must buy for any platform game fan.

Rayman Origins is a great fun family game. It's a platformer like old games, but with very cool graphics and perfect music! Throughout the game Rayman and his friends collect stuff through challening levels, unlocking new abilities as you go along. The best part of the game is that it can be played by 4 people at the same time and there's no competition. You're actually collecting stuff together so it's really very fun!

Really Fun and Original Rayman!

Rayman Origins is beautiful both in terms of visuals and level design. It's definitely one of the most accomplished 2D platform adventures for many years and shows off just how fun gaming can be without the ned for lots of complicated controls. You control Rayman and his friends in single or multi-player. You have to collect 'lums' (floating yellow orbs) and save some little caged dude's that look like ribena berries! The gameplay mechanics are extremely easy to pick up and the game is truly suitable for all ages over 7, with no really nasty bits in it! Huge fun to play alone of with friends. It's a must have title! Buy it and enjoy. :-)

2D is back

Playing Rayman Origins is the most fun I've had with my Playstation 3 in a long time. Classic 2D Jump & Run, gorgeous art and extremely fun and fast gameplay. There are not many games of this quality on the market and sadly there probably won't be anytime soon. If you ever enjoyed a 2D Jump & Run, ever, don't hesitate. Buy. You won't regret it.

Classic 2D Platforming

Rayman Origins brings back the classic 2D platforming from Rayman that we all with added bonus of local co-op. The game truly shines in co-operative mode when you and your friends jump and slap your way through the levels, trying to collect as many lums as possible along the way. The revive system is very forgiving as once you die, you are transformed into a bubble waiting for a fellow team mate to burst you back to life. And trust me, you will die a lot. The bubble revive also allows for that opportunity to be more adventurous in your exploration. As long as one person remains alive, your game can continue. Although Rayman Origins boasts beautiful colourful graphics and cartoon slapstick humour, don't be fooled into thinking it's just a game for kids. At times, the difficulty can be gruelling. The Treasure Chest runs are particularly difficult as you must chase after a treasure chest as the environment around you pulls out all stops to get you. It's extremely satisfying when you do accomplish it. For "completionists", you'll strive to collect every lum and find every secret door but even the causal player will find joy in simply slapping a team mate into an enemy. It's gorgeous platforming at its best enjoyed with friends.
