NHL 14 is quite good. It's a solid hockey game, like most NHL games from EA Sports. The skill stick system is a bit hard to get used to for someone who has only played the games with the previous system, but it does give better puck control. However, what really lowers the score is the AI. It's, simply put, lousy. Defenders usually only follow the puck holder and seldom tries to take the puck or tackle. The goaltenders easily save most shots, but when playing online it's obvious most players aim for the top corners, and many goals are scored that way. So many, it's almost silly. But overall, a good game.
