    Beautiful, cute, challenging, worth it!

I bought this because it seemed a good price on thehut, sounded interesting, and I read some good reviews from pros on gaming websites. They were right! Graphics - Gorgeous. You get to explore beautiful landscapes in different seasons, so you can go from wading through snow to rowing around lakes or climbing over mountains in the rain or sun and exploring castles, and with great scenic views around you all the time! Challenging - I didn't realise at first but you can choose easy, medium or hard. I completed the game on medium in a couple of months (playing a few hours a week at most) but could now choose to play it again on hard. There are things to collect each level, some of which I missed, so you get extra value by wanting to go back and discover what you missed first time around. It uses a variety of skills: aside from remote & nunchuk coordination there's also quick and tactical decision making in figuring out attack plans by combining your skills and a good range of magic spells etc. As for my gaming capabilities, I'm a graduate who grew up with PC games but not a big game console user (only own the Wii). Theme & characters - I liked the story: an evil warlord is trying to take over the land by turning wildlife into samurai. Ninjas have tried to stop him but failed, and you - the weakest ninja - are the last hope. The characters are endearing and it's all quite addictive like any good game. I also like the nature vs evil theme (like in Avatar, or Princess Mononoke). Overall - whilst there are a couple things I would change if possible, they didn't affect my enjoyment. As you can see I gave it 5 stars, & I'd definitely recommend it. A tad scary in some places (bear in mind I avoid horror films!) though no doubt an 8 year old boy would be fine with it! In fact writing this review is making me want to start playing it again!

    Definitely Recommend

Highly addictive game, purchased for my 5 year old. He absolutely loves it. The characters in the game are fun and my son finds them fascinating. He has completed the game with a little help from me. We both thoroughly enjoyed playing this game. Would definitely recommend.

    A fun game!

This is a fun game for boys and girls young and old alike. With it's cute cartoon graphics and not so hard gameplay it won't get you frustrated. The game is not that long though. But it's enough to keep you satisfied for a few days. No multiplayer features unfortunately. But with it's cheap price it's certainly a great game to have on the PS3!

    Very good game

I bought this game for my 6-year-old child and he loves it. The music is lovely, the character designs are cute and most of the levels are fun. A great game. By Io Interactive, the folks behind the Hitman franchise.

    Fun & Highly Addictive

This is a great fun ninja martial arts game - great graphics, sound and very addictive. Probably not for the serious gamer but provides a different style of gameplay and is very entertaining.
