The orders are simple: hunt down and execute a rogue agent that has stolen top-secret intelligence and millions in Agency cash. For agent Rico Rodriguez, the mission is anything but routine. The target is Tom Sheldon, Rico's former commanding officer, mentor and friend; a man who knows Rico better than he knows himself.
Sheldon went dark while operating in the corrupt island nation of Panau. There, three rival gangs wage war in the streets while the ruthless dictator Baby Panay rules the island with an iron fist. With the resources of the Agency at his disposal, Rico must infiltrate the island and locate Sheldon, setting off a violent chain of events that will set Panau ablaze.
Each of Rico's assignments can be tackled by land, sea or air with more than 100 vehicles including tactical jeeps, attack helicopters and jet fighters. As the Agency's best, Rico can execute a range of breathtaking new stunts, utilising his trademark parachute and upgraded grapple to reach any location in Panau. Somewhere on the 400 square mile island of white sand beaches, scorching deserts and snow-capped peaks, Sheldon awaits.

Just Cause 2 is really fun and can last up to 200 hours as there are plenty of things to do. I recommend it to anyone who likes open-world action games.

With all the hype of this game we would all have expected a much better outcome. However this is not to say this game is bad, it just has a few flaws. To start this game has great graphics and jumping off a 200ft mountain is completely overwhelming and dazzling. The control system is great with the sequel bringing back the 'grapple hook' allowing you to attach yourself to anything, even people!! There are a few major bugs which crop up every now and again with the odd person flying or a car randomly exploding. However this tends not to ruin the game unless you are really critical of these points. Overall this game is balanced with positive and negative points, the unregistered hype seemed to down the overall game when released. However in fairness Just Cause 2 has moved on from the original with no 'samey' bits of storyline or gameplay. 4 stars! :)

The game isn't about realistic and that. The game is what games should be. It's all fun and you really enjoy playing it. The world is wide open from the beginning of the game, so you don't need to do quests and reveal new areas. I liked the music, because the music fits for the game perfectly. The atmosphere is great too! Nicely done airflows and explosions. Main questline isn't the biggest possible, but there are many side quests and other things to do so you dont't get bored. The trophies in this game are nice, because they take some time but not too much time and they are all reachable so there isn't any lucky or really really hardcore stuff trophies. Like I said, I enjoyed for the game. I recommend this game for people who like good action games and are not looking for that realistic game.
