A combination of 5 games in one box, players are presented with 3 Half-life titles, the first person puzzle game Portal and the multiplayer first person shooter Team Fortress 2.

Giving players 5 games to pick from will leave them spoilt for choice. The sci-fi first person shooters included in The Orange Box are Half-Life 2, Half-Life 2: Episode One and Episode Two. These titles are played through the eyes of Gordon Freeman as he fights alongside rebels against aliens that have conquered Earth. If players wish to exercise their puzzle solving skills they can play Portal, in which they are placed in a number of increasingly complex rooms and told to reach the exit by creating teleportation portals on walls, ceilings and floors.

Lastly there is the online multiplayer sensation Team Fortress 2, in which players must work together combining tactics and fast reactions to beat the opposition. Players can exercise the freedom of being able to swap from a puzzle game to an online first person shooter all without ever having to change the disc.

The Orange Box is an ideal purchase for somebody who wants to experiment with a number of different style games and does not wish to compromise on quality when doing so.
