However, she was nowhere to be found. Everyone was convinced she was gone-with the exception of her sister, Serah Farron.
Three years later:
A single meteorite falls from the sky. As spatial distortions are created, bloodthirsty monsters appear, threatening the peaceful existence of the townspeople.
In the midst of this chaos, Serah is rescued by a young man by the name of Noel. A hunter from the future, he appears in front of her with a message.
"Come with me across the boundaries of time," he says. "Your sister is waiting."
She is Lightning—protector of the Goddess who rules the realm of death and chaos. She is Serah’s sister, her heroine, her savior.

Quality
I think the quality of Final Fantasy XIII-2 isn't that high. The menu looks cheap, but you can use different costumes for your characters. It doesn't look as good as it did in the first one.

Good RPG but no good FF.
This game is a decent RPG but not a good FF. There are only a few maps, all available at different times. But there are almost no differences between different times except for the quests. Gameplay is worse than FF13. The story is alright except for the end.

Good sequel
I've only played Final Fantasy XIII-2 for 6 hours by now, but they have improved a lot of features from FF XIII, but they also added some strange features. Overall, I'm really happy with the game and the purchase.

Final Fantasy XIII-2 is an amazing RPG, the defects of the previous title have been corrected, the combat system is fresh and simple. It's a good game to spend time on and sometimes is exciting.
Good game
Final Fantasy XIII-2 is a very decent game, a lot similar to the first XIII game with only a few minor adjustments, but still an all round fun game. Though I've only had the game for 3 days, I feel like I'm getting through the story pretty quickly.
Better than 13
I was expecting Final Fantasy XIII-2 to be rubbish, but I was wrong. To start with it has a much more interesting story and adds better depth to previous characters, and also the levelling system has improved. The game also added the addition of being able to control monsters and level them independently. This, in my book, is something I've always wanted to do in Final Fantasy games. The graphics are excellent as well, a much bigger improvement on the previous game. I have only played it for a few hours but it seems there is a lot to do in this game, including lots of side quests and collectables, thus meaning there is a lot of content. This is good though because unlike most games it's very rewarding putting in the work to get the collectables. Also there are lots of cool monsters you can have by your side. I think this title is a great buy and at a great price too. A must buy if you like Final Fantasy.

Part one of Final Fantasy XIII didn't do the series justice, part 2 makes up for it though! More fluent battles, and more things to explore. Gorgeous graphics too. Enjoy!

Final Fantasy XIII-2 is a good game, with a great story, excellent graphics, dynamic fights, very charismatic heroes, long stretch of gameplay, and I love it like I have every other of the saga. Thanks a lot to The Hut!

A good JRPG
In my opinion, Final Fantasy XIII-2 is a must-have if you like the Final Fantasy saga or JRPGs, and a good game if you are looking for good entertainment for quite a few hours.
All-rounder
One of the easiest games to get a Platinum trophy for. Apart from the trophy at Serendipity, the one to fight all enemies and the one to obtain all fragments, most are obtained automatically and easily. The story is excellent and fighting is as fast paced as expected. Later on even allows the user to use a fragment skill to double (or half) the overall game speed, which makes bonus stuff that much faster. The story ending is worth the wait and by far excellent. Only story battle which can be considered Hard is the final boss as even on Normal Difficulty, everything else is easy if the player actually goes for extra stuff along the way. DLC fights and chapters make the game have a lot more to aim for and enjoy. One of the best games available as of yet for all JRPG fans.

FF XIII-2
The newest entry of one of the greatest franchise. FF XIII-2 is a great game, there are a lot of improvements from its predecessor. It has better graphics, sound and gameplay than FF XIII. But most importantly there's a new system monster collection which is fun and addictive.
Final Fantasy XIII-2: The Journey for The past, Present, and Future
Final Fantasy XIII-2 is a great game, although not as great as what people expect. Overall Final Fantasy XIII-2 is better, although I think only slightly, than its predecessor. Final Fantasy XIII-2 has better graphics, better visual design, better sound and music, better gameplay and most importantly we can say goodbye to the thing we called "linearity". In Final Fantasy XIII-2 you've got plenty of choices of what you want to do, where you want to go, and when you want to do it. Beside the elimination of linearity, I think Square Enix also make one interesting improvement, and that is monster collection. Monster collection in Final Fantasy XIII-2 is fun and addictive. If you like "monster collection" games like Persona or Pokemon you will like Final Fantasy XIII-2. Oh, and did I already mention that Final Fantasy XIII-2 has a great (and flashy) combat system? The only disappointment that I feel is that Final Fantasy XIII-2's main story line is quite short compared to other RPGs, but besides that I can't find any other letdown. Well, I think we already have enough reasons why we must add Final Fantasy XIII-2 to our game collection, and I can assure you that you will have a great time playing it.
Final Fantasy XIII+2
First of all: I had a lot of fun playing Final Fantasy 13. However, there was at least one issue that left a "not quite perfect" feeling in my mind: 2/3 of the game was too linear. Final Fantasy 13-2 scores in all the areas the predecessor did: graphics, soundtrack, story, great fighting system. Linear? Not this time! You've got plenty of choices what to do and where / when to go next. If you liked Final Fantasy 13, you will love Final Fantasy 13-2.
Final fantasy XIII-2
Final Fantasy XIII-2 builds on the foundations laid by his predecessor, and it eliminates the major structural defects. Square has a J-RPG with the flakes which should make happy any lover of the genre. Unfortunately, the narrative, albeit incredibly complex and profound, collapses under its own weight and presents too many absurd moments to keep the impact of story that had preceded. Not all levels are able to be brilliant, and happen to find phases calculated evil that break action. Anyway is a title that I recommend without hesitation and that can provide hours of fun, especially for perfectionists.
