Fallout 3 is amazing. First it's complicated, but when you learn this game well...you can't stop playing. Brilliant.

Game of the Year

I heard so much about Fallout 3, how many awards it already earned and how many people are excited about this game. The game itself is pretty cool and has a great graphics. The world is huge and you are free to do nearly everything there :D So I think I won't be sorry for buying this great game! Plus, super fast shipping to Germany for an incredibly cheap price!

Olden Golden

Despite the fact that I have already played the game on PC when it was first released for about 200 hours - the game is still worth for some more time. On PS the graphics are as great as on PC. With my new 3D TV with stereo conversion even the game looks somewhat playable in 3D! OK - I have to admit that direct conversion from 2D to 3D ain't perfect. Still, it's a new experience for me. Even without the 3D goggles the game looks after the years great and I bet I'll have a blast for come tens or even hundreds of hours to come, thanks to all DLCs that are included...

Immersive Plot & Customization + all the DLCs

I absolutely love Fallout 3. Prepare to spend lots of time in this outstanding Bethesda title. The game is great in terms of replay value! Another plus is the fact that you don't have to download all the DLCs and 2 of them enrich the overall experience quite much - Operation: Anchorage & Broken Steel!

Fallout 3 is an amazing game and a must get for all PS3 and XBOX 360 owners. The game provides over 100 hours of fun, with many quests with diffrent scenarios in a post-apocalyptic wasteland of Washington DC. Filled with customisation and personalisation of your own house and appearance, along with many types of weapons and armour. Furthermore, one of the main things I like about the game is the karma system, where you can turn out to be fighting in the name of justice or evil. Overall It is a very good game 5/5.

Truly awesome

Fallout 3 is by far the best game I own. And I have played and completed many great games. Batman arkham asylum AND arkham city, assassins creed (all of them), as well as many others and nothing comes close. The main storyline of fallout 3 is only the start. There are hundreds of different weapons, armours, enemies and side quests, as well as general activities such as hunting, stealing, or just walking around the HUGE map trying to find everything. It is a game which can easily take weeks and months to complete. And you will have amazing fun doing it. The game of the year edition comes with ALL the downloadable content available for fallout 3, and this adds several more hours of gameplay, as well as new weapons and areas to explore. A welcome addition to an already incredible game. A must play for ANYONE (unless you don't like blood !!!)

Fallout 3

introduction Fallout 3 almost effortlessly succeeds in its central aim of reviving a much-loved brand to appeal to the vast majority of players. It's a thrilling, all-consuming experience that will absorb you for weeks, whether you're attracted by the action, the adventure, or the role-playing, as you fall in love with the relentless excitement, incredible atmosphere, sense of place and sheer choice...Bethesda has once again delivered a game of life-affirming brilliance that will be heralded as a classic, and talked about for years to come story In the alternate history leading up to this event, the Cold War thawed into all-out conflict between the USA and China. The bomb drops and mankind retreat back in several vaults underground America. You are being born as a child and as you grow up, you're father left the vault, what is straightly forbidden. you're mission is now to find you father while you throw yourself into a stunning world filled with ruins of the Washington DC. Operation Anchorage The first of the DLC that I decided to check out. The storyline sees you entering a simulation (much like the ultra-creepy Tranquility Lane) that you must complete in order for some Brotherhood of Steel Outcasts to enter a room filled with special weapons and armor. The simulation brings you to Anchorage, Alaska way back before the nuclear bombs were dropped. In the mission, you must make your way into a Chinese facility and take out their big guns, big vehicles, and a couple other advantages they have against us. You can either run in full speed and battle your way through, or you can turn the DLC into a kind of Splinter Cell stealth mission. The Pitt In what seems to be inspired by Ridley Scott’s vision of Hell in Legend, “The Pitt” takes us to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and another nasty and dangerous DLC mission. The Pitt is a massive slave camp where captives work themselves to the bone and in fear that the slightest of wrong looks or breaks will find them getting shot. The world is much like Paradise Falls (for those of you who have played), but much, much larger. Point lookout Your quest here begins when you investigate a local mansion, where you’ll meet a man named Desmond who is under attack from a group known as Tribals. You assist him in stopping them before he makes you promises of riches if you help him to find out why they want him dead. Your journey will require you to join the cult-like Tribals to find the answers, and the only way that you can get in, is by taking part in their sacred ritual. And while that’s all I’ll say about the quest, I will also say that this ritual leads to one of the trippiest, creepiest sequences I’ve seen in a video game. It doesn’t help that Point Lookout is already riddled with mutated rednecks Mothership Zeta This is the DLC that takes you farther away from the main Wasteland location of the video game than any other. “Mothership Zeta” begins when you follow a very odd and creepy radio signal that leads you to a crash site that ends up being an alien space craft. When you see the body of an alien creature laying near the crash, you naturally go to investigate further, but this is where a bright blue light overtakes you, and you wake up in a strange room. Broken Steel I decided to save “Broken Steel” for the very last adventure because this was the mission that extended the end of your actual main storyline. There’s actually not a whole lot to it overall. It starts off with a pretty big bang involving Liberty Prime, the giant robot built to fight the Enclave. After that you will be moving through a few intense areas to make your way to a major enemy base to attempt to take out one of their biggest weapons and cripple their forces.

Game of the Year for a reason

Dear video game lovers. I'd like to get straight to the point. You cannot make any mistake bying this one as long as you have reached the age of 18 years;) The presentation is marvellous. Everything looks astounding. The world of post-apocalyptic Washington D.C. is kinda sad and cruel but still beautifully done with unbelievable detail. The story will also make you curious. Gameplay is quiet simple and yet in my opinion there's no other shooter out there that has any advantages to this one. What I really like about the game is the combination of straight out action-shooter and elements of an rpg. The world you're traveling in is enormous. There's so much to do and it's totally up to you which way you're going first and also it's up to decide for being a good or a bad guy. This one will shackle you for weeks. Go get it!
