    Product Review

    Release Date: 26 August 2011

You play Adam Jensen, an ex-SWAT specialist who's been handpicked to oversee the defensive needs of one of America's most experimental biotechnology firms. Your job is to safeguard company secrets, but when a black ops team breaks in and kills the very scientists you were hired to protect, everything you thought you knew about your job changes

Badly wounded during the attack, you have no choice but to become mechanically augmented and you soon find yourself chasing down leads all over the world, never knowing who you can trust. At a time when scientific advancements are turning athletes, soldiers and spies into super enhanced beings, someone is working very hard to ensure mankind's evolution follows a particular path.

You need to discover where that path lies. Because when all is said and done, the decisions you take, and the choices you make, will be the only things that can change it.

    Features:

    • A divided near-future: discover a time of great technological advancement, but also a time of chaos and conspiracy. Mechanical augmentations of the human body have divided society between those who can afford them, and those who can't. Opposing forces conspire from the shadow to control the destiny of mankind: a human revolution is coming.
    • A perfect mix of action and role-play: the game uniquely combines action-packed close-quarter takedowns with intense shooting, offering a vast array of character augmentations and upgrades for the many weapons at your disposal. Unlock new abilities and increase your stealth, social, hacking or combat skills: the game rewards all styles of play and approaches. Determine how you want your character to evolve, based on how you want to play the game.
    • Choices and consequences: shoot your way through your enemies, sneak up behind them without being traced, hack systems to retrieve crucial information, or use your social skills to extract information from key characters - there are always choices, multiple approaches, multiple paths and multiple tools at your disposal. Choose your playing style and face the consequences of your actions: you decide how the story unfolds.

    Immersive, engaging, amazing

I remember playing the original Deus Ex on PC many years ago and getting a real wow factor. I was completely drawn into the world that Eidos had created and the story was so compelling I obsessively played for hours on end. This reboot of the franchise took me right back to that wow moment, in fact I think it even topped it. The sumptuous settings, the freedom of play and the captivating story all add up to one hell of a ride. Human Revolution seems to build upon everything that has come before in the series but it gets a real shot in the arm in terms of style and gameplay. This game is definitely ram-raided its way into my top ten of all time.

    Very Interesting

Following Adan Janser you will enjoy a very interesting story and a redesigned kind of game. This is apparently a FPS with some third person action and the RPG style of conversations, but since the story begin to open you will understand all the possibilities that you have, a good and real multipath story with tons of hours that will surprise you untill the end.

    A shooter with brains

What sets Deus Ex apart from so many other games is that it doesn't force you to play in a particular way. In most games you are supposed to either sneak around, or solve puzzles, or kill anything that moves. Deus Ex mixes all these elements in a very rewarding way. Highly recommended.

    Long-winded but cool...

It has been a while - the first Deus Ex on PC! The new Deus Ex leads you back to the great gameplay and the good reputation of Deus Ex! But as I mentioned in the "review title", sometimes the game is too long-winded! Long conversations, many items to find and to collect... Nothing for quick action! And please: Never do the same mistake I did... Never choose the stunning guns... Boring with them! :)) Anyways, great game for a great price!

    Good story

Deus Ex 3: Human Revolution features a very good plot, characters and design. Every mission can be completed in multiple ways, from stealth to brute force. The augmentation system allows you to adapt the skills of your character to your preferred way of solving the game. A must buy for the fans of the original Deus Ex, and a very good buy for all the others.

    Just excellent

The gameplay is fun (you can choose wether you play it stealth or if u go rambo), you can choose whether you play the game lethal or non lethal. Also quite a lot of dialogue choices, an excellent RPG that everyone should try. It's quite strange at first getting used to the first person view for stealth but you'll get used to it in no time. In my opinion Deus Ex 3: Human Revolution should be a nominee for game of the year. I haven't had this much fun in an RPG since Mass Effect 2.

    Excellent

Deus Ex 3: Human Revolution is a great game. Lots of attention to detail and some really nice touches. The game gives you plenty of options as to how you approach situations with more going on than the usual FPS. Recommended.

    Deus ex

Well what more can I say about this game. I can tell you this: its definitely worth buying. Deus ex is a game which has a mix of shooting, planning things or playing the game in stealth mode. The best of all is that u can choose whichever playstyle you like more. Your not stuck with one playthrough of the entire game. Its a big game with a very nice storyline. The graphics are good, the gameplay is awesome, the character has a lot of various moves. My advice would be to buy this game. Its a must have for all gamers!

    Very good game

Deus Ex: Human Revolution is a well-made game. Its story is very interesting and special, I'd say. I really appreciated the possibility of being able to enhance the several skills of Jensen and the stealth parts. And pretty nice the negotiation parts too! It has just one defect: once you'll have just finished the game, you won't be too willing to play it again, since you can't unlock anything by finishing the game.

    Deus Ex Human Revolution

At first I wasn't convinced that Deus Ex HR could be a great game, but after one hour of playing I love it. It is damn good. The graphics aren't the best but the storyline and characters are very interesting. A must have for fans of SciFi and Thriller.

Just like the original, which is high praise!

Forget Deus Ex: Invisible War: THIS is the real sequel to the original Deus Ex. It captures the spirit of the original in an amazing way, and I say that meaning it as very high praise. The gameplay is just as fresh and enjoyable as the original, and the game demands repeat playthroughs to try different methods and styles of play. Graphics (much like the original) are functional and look good but will not be winning any awards. The sound is excellent - voice acting merely passable but the soundtrack is incredible and really does invoke the first game. Overall, highly recommended, especially if you are a fan of the first game.

good mix of gameplay styles, not the best storytelling

The game is a great mix of action and stealth, apparently able to play either style, I've played it being stealthy so far and enjoyed what I've played so far. The controls are a bit strange and seem to be intentionally different to most other 1st person shooters like call of duty and battlefield. The story is a bit confusing and a reliance on scouring computer emails ect., to get the full story slows progress down and sucks a lot of the atmosphere out of the game, some interesting gameplay features though. Good if you liked films like Blade Runner.
