Dark Souls

Dark Souls is a great game. It has excellent gameplay, sound and graphics. This game is also very, very addictive, with improved online features from its predecessor, which makes this game even greater. Although this game is really great, I'd not recommend it to the casual gamer, because this game is also very hard. It took me three tries just to beat the first boss! So if you're not prepared, don't play this game yet, because instead of having fun, Dark Souls will only make you frustrated.

Great but hard

The game is excellent and you can't stop playing it but it's really really HARD. I've spent like 20hrs already and I think I'm at 10%. If you have good determination and are not turned off by repeating levels over and over again - then it's going to be great.

If you love adventure or RPG games, do not miss Dark Souls! There comes a time where you start a game, you play it, and turn of your TV, then continue with your day. Dark Souls is not that kind of game! This game is very gripping and makes you want to carry on playing! I read about it, heard about it's notorious difficult, prepared my tactics for playing it, went to sleep, and ended up dreaming about it! It is a very hard game, there's no doubting that, but the reward that you feel when you beat some of the bosses, is just pure joy! Do not miss this one! It's exactly what video games are all about.

Simply Amazing

One of the hardest game ever played, it is a brutal and demanding third-person action-RPG. You will die again and again, you will be excited and in 1 minute frustrated but it's worth it. Every single scene and every single action is amazing in this game. Your chances of success are so slim and each victory is outstanding.

So i just recently bought Dark Souls,even though it came out last year and my first thought after playing it for the first time was: WHY DID I WAITED SO LONG FOR THIS?? Dark Souls is a masterpiece, one of those games you can't stop playing. The characters are interesting, the story is great too, but of course, this game is all about its combat gameplay. And that is the best combat you'll ever play. It flows perfectly and it never falls short. Die and it's your fault. Of course it is hard, and if you played Demons Souls you know what you're up against. But once you start playing,you feel in absolute control of your character. It's hard, but definitely rewarding. It's simply pefect. Don't waste more time like I did. Buy it and prepare to be amazed.

Speaking from a long life of gaming, I can safely say Dark Souls gained a special place in the list of best RPGs I have ever played! It really challenges the player to be careful on every move, and it teaches you that sometimes when you risk you gain amazing rewards, and sometimes you lose everything. The difference between this game and so many other RPGs is that are always alert in every movement and attack, you study your target and decide the best way to approach. In conclusion, if you like games that give you a real challenge and every win makes you feel like you just conquered the world, then this is the game for you.

Even if, miraculously, the victory is yours, it's likely that you have to get up, take a deep breath and even stretch, as each battle, or surprising new area of Dark Souls is an intense experience and really felt in the skin by the player. If hardcore titles and are very highly punitive to you, then save your soul or try to embark on one of the games with more immersion of the entire history of video games. Otherwise, enjoy, because Dark Souls contains one of the most mysterious and rewarding adventures of this generation, putting the player in a troubled world that holds so many surprises as to make the player to create a natural habit of raising his shield when entering an area unknown. Fear, challenge, action, immersion, and a lot of concentration: these are some of the elements that are part of an essential game for those who are a real gamer.

Dark Souls was one of the most highly anticipated games of 2011, and without a doubt one of the most difficult. The sequel to Demon Souls fails to disappoint with new huge enemies, beautiful dark graphics and heart-pumping action. You will find yourself battling for souls, equipment and most importantly, your life. Not for the casual gamer, or those with little patience, as in Dark Souls you will find that no matter who you face every opponent stands a very high chance of killing you, and every time you are slain you lose all your hard fought souls and humanity, and must return to the site of your death to pick it up again. Overall Dark Souls is a excellent game with various characters, play styles, groups to join and new ways to die.
