It's better than the first game of the saga because it gives you more freedom of movements and it is less repetitive. The scenarios are very well designed and the storyline is brilliant. I highly recommend that game.
Assassin's Creed 2 is a great game with an excellent story and great gameplay. Highly recommended saga!
Excellent game! Compared to Assassins Creed 1 this is much more interesting, funny and there's more variety.
Assassin's Creed 2 is a great game, a far cry from the first as far as the environments go. If you like the series then this is definitely a solid purchase.
Improves many things and keeps the details of the time-line of the story compared to the original game. It also includes some puzzles, new weapons and gameplay. Amazing!
This is a great game, with an awesome game play and scenarios. The story is addictive but still is a little short, with maps these size there could be more story, I have all assassin's creed games for PS3 and all off them have great story, but in this one has a great add: the Leonardo inventions, which are very fun to play with.
Really good gameplay and graphics.
A great game at a good price. Highly recommended!
Assassins Creed 2 is vast, beautiful and has a wonderful atmosphere. This changes time to time and still maintains the quality! The framerate sometimes suffers a bit, but it hasn't really made the game any more difficult to play, it's just annoying at times. In short: buy it, it's a must have experience!
Assassin's Creed II is a classic must-have game. Its stunning vistas and realistic landscapes blend perfectly with its cutting edge gameplay. The campaign is entertaining and with so many side objectives you will never find yourself without something to do. The Game of the Year package is a great deal and makes a perfect gift for your gaming friends.
Brilliant game! Better than first one. Exellent! You now can buy weapons, clothes .... Plus storry is fantastic
very efficient delivery and the game is perfect!
I came to this with a lot of reservations. I wanted to like Assassin's Creed so much, but it just disappointed in too many ways. Assassin's Creed 2 took everything in the first game and made it better. About 75% better. The biggest addition to the game: fun. The cities are more easily navigated, so getting around is less of a chore, and the notoriety meter is better balanced. Too much heat? Go rip down a wanted poster or kill a city official. That's right, killing the right person will make you less suspicious. Awesome. The missions and the future and science part flow well with the story. The collectibles and the money system add needed variety. You can change your clothes, buy weapons, buy art, and you have a country villa to hold it all. All that said, the platforming in this game has issues. I fell to my death too often for stupid reasons. Also, they removed some levels from the game just so they could release it as DLC. Not cool, Ubisoft. Not cool at all. The game isn't perfect, but it is a huge improvement over the last installation. I thought it would be meh, but I can't put it down.
This is an absolute superb game. The GOTY edition adds chapters 12 & 13 and also 3 secret locations that essentially complete the story. The actual storyline is fantastic and very much gets you in to the game and flows flawlessly. The gameplay is awesome and controlling Ezio is quite easy. They also fixed up the issues from the first AC so to not draw the combat out as much. For this price, is very much worth it. Will give you 20-25 hrs of gameplay, and a little more if you go for all the achievements
This game is brilliant even though it dosn't have online it's AMAZING!!! The story mode is out of this world the different people you meet on journey and become freinds with e.g Leonardo Davinci (gives you weapons). Furthermore if you dont get this game and you have a ps3 or Xbox you are an idiot.
This is one of the best games I have played in a long time. Usually, when I play a game I have to take a break. Otherwise I get bored and I won't play the game again. This time I could have played for hours. I just wanted to know what would happen next. The plot is very exciting and the game isn't very difficult to play. When you familiarize yourself with the controls everything becomes natural. I can sincerely recommend this game to anyone.
This game is one of the best I have played in my entire life. Our hero and his history (rather his family's history) is exciting, fantastic and when you finish the game you'll say "I want more of this !!!". For me this game is a perfect action RPG. 10/10. From the beginning to the end, this game can show you something new, something you have never been feeling. Everyone should play it because it's one of these games which are perfect with every detail.
What a great game. Well worth a purchase in my opinion, I guess i am about half way through the main story and i like the blend of gameplay along with the engaging story.
Assassin's Creed II is the follow-up to Ubisoft's 2007 hit that attracted a mass audience if not unanimous critical acclaim. The sequel is an expansive and bloody romp through Renaissance Italy that plays up every popular aspect of the first installment while righting many of its flaws. Assassin's Creed II has evolved from an ill-defined action game into a fully featured open world experience. Everything from the new monetary system to the ability to buy armor and weapons makes it a richer, and ultimately more satisfying game than its predecessor. The plot of Assassin's Creed pulls together a bit of The Matrix, a lot of historical fiction, and throws in elements of the madcap conspiracy theories found in a Dan Brown novel. The series also has the benefit of being crafted by some of the most talented hands in game development. With only a handful of exceptions, the environments, animations, and art are beautifully portrayed. In addition to its good looks, the sequel's gameplay builds so much upon the foundations of the first game, that in retrospect, the first Assassin's Creed looks like little more than a technical demonstration. Both fans and detractors of Assassin's Creed will be pleased to know that the sequel fully addresses and ties up many of the loose ends from the last game. It picks up exactly where we left off, with the kidnapped bartender Desmond locked in his cell at Abstergo. This corporation is the modern-day face of the Templars and they're after Desmond's valuable genetic memories. The magic of modern technology allows Desmond to relive the exploits of his Assassin ancestors. His genealogy puts him at the center of a war between the Templars and Assassins. The game starts off with a bang, springing Desmond from jail and introducing him to the Assassins at their secret hideout. Here they have access to the same technology that allows Desmond to relive the past. In the last game, his brain was forcibly used to reveal powerful artifacts hidden in 12th century Jerusalem. This time Desmond temporally relocates to 15th century Italy by choice to learn the ways of the Assassins through the life of Ezio Audituerre de Firenze. It's a convoluted setup, but it's also a great excuse to skip around in time, taking control of a character for only the most interesting moments of his life. Players are introduced to Ezio at the moment of his birth as part of a clever lesson on movement. It then jumps to his formative years as a womanizer, a street fighter, and the son of a wealthy banker. He isn't a wholly likable character, but the game steers us towards a revenge plot that provides the player plenty of motivation to stick with the story. The Renaissance setting also adds a much needed dose of color and humor to the series. As we learn more about Ezio and become acquainted with his hometown of Florence, the game presents bite-sized bits of information on how to play Assassin's Creed II. This interweaving of plot and tutorial establishes an intriguing tale of revenge and slowly explains a varied and complicated control scheme. In the early missions, we're introduced to the excellent free running system that allows players to climb over almost any surface. Movement speed in Assassin's Creed II has been significantly increased from the first game, enabling players to fluidly zip around the city. The animations are still excellent, and Ezio's body realistically adjusts to his environment as he climbs and vaults past obstacles. The only downside of free running is that there are moments when the camera doesn't present the best view of what's over the next rooftop. Overzealous free runners will take more damage from falling off buildings than they'll ever take from a sword. For better or for worse "stealth" games are defined by the Metal Gear series. Hideo Kojima's vision of tactical espionage has extremely rigid rules about when a player is hidden and when they are plainly visible. Assassin's Creed II breaks this convention, adhering more to the rules of a Jason Bourne movie, where quick actions and a dense crowd are the tools of escape. I find this version of stealth refreshing, more realistic, and ultimately a success due to the numerous options players have when navigating the city streets.
This Game is one of the best i have ever purchased. Its fun for both boys girls women and men. They should definatly make a movie.
To start, this game improves EVERY part of the previous one. Better graphics(imagine that!), more decent gameplay, thrilling scenario, engaging storyline and atmosphere. Also, Renaissance Italy is really beautiful, with every town designed EXACTLY like the real one, with every little detail, and the player is free to explore and interact with them. There are many side-missions, like contracts, assasinations, races, collectibles, and more that add many hours of gameplay. There are no serious problems, except some glitches and bugs here and then. Overall, this is a UNIQUE game that every gamer is obliged to experience. It's a nearly perfect game, improved in every section, and it would be a serious crime if someone skipped it, especially at that price!
Why Do you think They Put It On Platinum and rate It game of the year. This Is A Great Game.
This is a great game if you like games in a ancient time. It's great in the begin, middle and end but when you have finished the game this is in platinum mode than is there nothing to do anymore. But in overall it's a great game!!
Assasin's creed 2 is one of the game of the year. Compare to the 1 with ALtaïr it is better. More beautiful and more details. gameplay is easy and fun. The history is perfect. And you will be not do the same thing. Finish to robb, spy and find the target to kill and alle the time the same thing as Assasin's creed 1 with Altaïr. In this you can do other thinks such as course on foot, puzzles, help peoples, play the day and night, swim, fly with a machine ... If we can play with two players i think it will be for me the best of the millenary !!! To buy with no reflect !!!
This game has wonderful graphics. The story will draw you into the action. A few errors would be found. For example occasional frame drop and easy enemies. Sometimes too easy. Game gives you more things than the first episode. New weapons, new fight style, armors and more. Regarding thehut, delivery was fast and i comes from Slovakia. Their prices are the best.I recommend shopping at this store. Thank you thehut :)
What to say about Assassin's Creed II? Well, looking back on the great experience that was Assassin's Creed, all I could do was wonder if Ubisoft could somehow ever manage to improve the gameplay, graphics and all the awesome-ness that was that game. For once in my life, I was glad to be proved wrong. Assassin's Creed II just effectively built upon the masterpiece that was the first Assassin's Creed, and does so with practically no fault whatsoever. Somehow, the gameplay is more smooth and fluid than before and surprisingly, the scenery and environment is just so much better to look at. While Assassin's Creed was no slouch in these departments, Assassin's Creed II just manages to improve upon those areas where the first AC may have strayed off the beaten path. In terms of replay-ability, I have successfully gotten at least 40 hours out of this one game. In a time where most games now seem to clock in at no more than 20 hours, this was a definite upside for me. However, while this game is not perfect, I most definitely was satisfied paying full-price for it, so I'd say it's a definite first-buy for anybody who enjoyed the first AC.
