Description

Max Payne!
Max Payne has always been a awesome game, ever since the first one. Now the third has conquered the perfection, multiplayer included. If you loved the the first and the second, you absolutely have to buy the third!
Fantastic game!!
Max Payne 3 is the best third person action game I've played in all my life! Great moments of pure action, and intense shoot scenes. I've finished the game after 23 hours playing it in normal mode. I love third and first person action games, and this one is now im my top five of the third person action games, in the first place!
Better than expected
I'm an old Max Payne fan. I liked Max Payne 1 and 2. This part 3 is from a different creator, Rockstar. Still it is very loyal to old Payne games and that part I like. Even the old voice actor is still with the game. The action scenes are fantastic and overall I enjoy very much on this game. The only down side is the multiplayer mode. It's good but you need to change things in your mode and it takes some time if you dont know these things. Still I would recommend this game to anybody who likes 3rd person action games.
Good gameplay, forgettable story
I was very excited when Max Payne 3 was announced and I got it as soon as it was released. The gameplay is very solid and entertaining, but the story and atmosphere do not live up to the predecessors. The almost poetic dialogue; trademark of Remedy writer Sam Lake, is gone and has been replaced with poor writing and a mediocre story. James McCaffrey makes up for it a bit, but it's still disappointing. Rockstar Games usually know how to tell a good tale and how to produce sharp dialogue, but this time they failed to live up to the standards of Sam Lake. The cut scenes are weird, with random words flying at you. I understand what they are trying to do, but it just doesn't work. I think the graphic novel style would have been the best way to go, though I have to say that the seamless transitions between the cuts cenes and gameplay are very well made. The gameplay is however very solid and entertaining. The good old bullet-time is back and it's actually quite refreshing that the good old painkillers have been chosen instead of regenerating health. The shooting works great, both with a controller and mouse / keyboard setup. Overalll it's a good game. James McCaffrey and the good gameplay makes up for the disappointing story and atmosphere. It is definitely worth the price, so I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys third-person shooters.
Excellent moviesh game
Max Payne 3 still have Max Payne feel in it. Gameplay is very linear and contain lots of cinematics, but only make game better, movie like experience. Graphically very good and PC version runs very smoothly.

At times, Max Payne 3's just too much. Too much action with too many enemies and too much effects in cut scenes. But nonetheless the action is quite good, mechanics work great, graphics are very good. The story is quite intriguing and Max is the same as ever. The game isn't able to capture the flair of the previous ones but manages build its own. Overall an awesome experience!

Ahh Max Payne... The cop with a tortured soul is back. Older, bitter, but still alive and kicking... Max Payne 3 goes further in the movie atmosphere of the series. Ever seen "Man on fire" or "Salton Sea"? Well, Max Payne 3 feels a bit that way, but better (because Max beats Denzel and Val hands down). The multiplayer part is also rather enjoyable, even though the Rockstar social club is not always working as it should...

Max Payne 3 is the best shoot-'em-up game out there at the moment, nice graphics, well thought out with some highly innovative touches - moreover, you are given a hero who you feel in absolute control of! The 'bullet time' mode is a great addition to shoot-'em-ups and works really well. Worth getting the game for this alone! Makes me feel excited about computer games again -infact this game is just what I bought my computer for! Buy this game - worth spending your hard earned money on. Top marks!
Great Game!
Max Payne 3 is a great sequel which brings back the memories of the two previous games. Took me two nights to beat the single-player, but I am still enjoying the multi-player mode. It's a must have third person shooter!
